I think I spend more time reading about video games then I do playing them. I'm tempted to buy Spider Man 2 even though I know it will collect dust within 1 day.

Anybody get games but don't play them?
I got James Bond: Everything or Nothing near release date for free and I've spent a grand total of 30 mins playing the game.

Re: Anybody get games but don\'t play them?
I bought Full Spectrum Warrior the day it came out and haven't beaten the first minute yet. I haven't played it much since the day I got it.
I have since rented MVP 2004, Madden 2004, and now have Chronicles of Riddick. They are good games, but I play them very little.
I keep intending to play FSW more, but when I think about the slower pace and more strategizing approach, I decide to watch baseball instead... I haven't really played XBox much lately, but I intend to get back into it at some point.. There are good games out, but not the type of game I am looking for at this time.. I'm not really sure what kind of game I am looking for, but I haven't found it yet, and it hasn't been released recently.. I'm excited about ESPN Football and am thinking about picking up NCAA 2004, because I like sports and sports games the most.
Take care.Comment

That right there is my biggest problem. I am so fascinated with the whole design/development/marketing aspect of games that I have a long backlog of games I haven't played, or haven't played enough. I read a lot of game magazines and I just devour anything I can read about games.
I bought Chronicles of Riddick on the day of release and I haven't even opened it yet!
I have Ace Combat 4, Crimson Skies, and Secret Weapons over Normandy that I've bought recently and haven't played.
I've got a lot of games - PGR2, TOCA 2, Rainbow Six 3, Halo, Burnout 2, Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance, Soul Calibur II, Virtua Fighter 4 Evo, and Manhunt - that I've started and never finished.
Yet I keep buying new games. Makes no sense really.Favorite Sports Teams

Any time I buy more than one game at a time I do that. I always think its because gaming is growing old with me, then another game comes along and I'm hooked again.Comment

Re: Anybody get games but don\'t play them?
Yea, I got Return to Castle Wolfenstein about a month or two ago, mainly for the online play. I never got much time for online play though and I think the weekend I got it, I beat about half of the single player mode. I havent really touched it since then which is kind of sad.
