Is it any good? I was browsing last night and saw IGN and Gamespot gave it a 5.4. Is it that bad, because I was thinking about getting it.

I passed on it, I wanted it too, but the reviews scared me. I had a buddy on XBox Live (it's Live aware) playing it the other night for about 5 hours, but I don't know who he really is, and haven't seen him on since to find out how good it is. I loved Driver 1 and 2... I'm going to try to rent it this weekend, if I do, I'll give my impressions of it. -

Isn't the XBOX verison riddled with bugs and glitches? I was thinking about at least renting the game, but after hearing about the bugs, to me there is no point in even thinking about the game. Just have to wait for GTA: San Andreas

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BUY THIS GAME!
I rented it on the way home from work today, after 20 mins, I'm ready to toss it out the window. Luckily I had a coupon so the rental was 99 cents. Anyways, I have seen nothing but bugs, glitches. Pop up is worse than a PS1 game. You'll be literally 10 feet from a corner and a tree will appear, not good if you are chasing/following and you wham right into it. The camera angles are awful, only 2, first person and another one which is too close to the car. And the biggest stinker, to me anyways, you can't invert the controls, so they are backwards, personally, I cannot play like that.
The film director stuff online is cool, but gets boring after about 3 videos. The cities do look amazing, especially the opening video shot of Miami at night. Looks almost real. But the gameplay graphics..UGH! If you want this type of game, play Vice City, it's 100X better than this piece of garbage. Wow, this might be the worst game I have ever played.Comment

I am enjoying this game very much, it's no Vice City by any means, but fans of the previous game will like it, but they could have done a lot better for the amount of time they had.Comment
