Is this possible in anyway to play wireless with cable?

One of my neighbors gets on the internet on his PS2 via a wireless router. You still have to have a cable modem and the cable coming from the wall to the modem and cable going to the router though.

Another thing I should mention is that in his experience, my friend has been booted many times from the 'net because of the lack of reliability of the wireless router. It mainly happens when he plays SOCOM II. Just keep that in mind while considering to play your PS2 online wireless.
