Po,

when you put in the movie and starts to boot and it asks about the password thing. Just put in number you can remmeber... typically 0000 works.

If you can't get in, just hit O to stop the movie. Then I believe it's 7444 as the overide password. (it's in the manual under parental lock) Then it will ask to put a new one in.

In order to change settings you have to hit O on the contorller to stop the movie then you can actually go into the settings menu. From there go to the last menu on the right where you can pick parental settings, etc. There's a set for movie level, 1-8 or Off. Put it to off and then you won't get the password boot up anymore.

VERY IMPORTANT!@#$
To save the new info you must hit the EJECT tray button since it'll save to the flash memory. If you hit the reset button it wipes out the changes you made.
