Overwatch is somehow more fast paced but less hectic than Battleborn. Battleborn gets to be a bit too over the top for me at times. While Boarderlands was the perfect blend of cell shading crazyness/brightness and pace Battleborn can get a bit obnoxious and exhausting at times. I do however like the longer drawn out fights of Battleborn compared to Overwatch. When a team starts dominating Overwatch it's pretty much over in a flash. But I think that's significantly due to my favorite thing about Overwatch and that is you have to know your powers and how to use them. It feels like integrating them into your playstyle is more important to Overwatch than Battleborn.

At the end of the day when I had decided that I was going to skip both I've now purchased Battleborn and pre-ordered Overwatch. Good thing Uncharted is so far off in the future I've got time to play them a bunch before it's release.

There were six of us talking but you can only hear Bolt and myself, so don't think I am crazy if you hear me laughing randomly I swear I am not crazy

I think there are some F bombs in here so NSFW LANGUAGE

But basically this strategy is what I dub "Noob Grinder" if the other doesn't know the strengths of all heroes they won't be able to get past Shield + Bastion Turret + Healer trinity combo

Also, props to SBauer and his buddy for doing great watching the flank and keeping our sides covered. They da real MVP

I didn't really think I'd be into this type of game but the beta has changed my mind. It's alot of hectic fun but really enjoyable. I try to stick with a character for a bit to learn their powers. Also like how they have a practice mode to learn the ropes before heading online against others. Another nice touch is having a button to remind you what powers you have & what buttons they are attached to as you can quickly forget.

Anyone looking to start a squad? I'm gonna play the heck outta BETA this weekend, learn a couple characters. I'd like to team up with some of y'all OS'ers on PS4 when it drops its first weekend. (Not big on playing or teaming up with randoms.) Granted I'm not the greatest of all time, but i would definitely be looking to throw down sat nites and sundays.

My main this morning was Widowmaker.

Came out blasting as some offensive weapons, couldn't hit the bright side of a barn...

So I hopped on as a support role as the angel healer, forget her name, and we won payload and moved it quite efficiently.

I even recieved the most likes at the end of the game! Who says no one likes a support role? Team was very appreciative of me

One thing I'm enjoying about this game is that I not slamming my controller down when I die. In other FPS twitchy shooters I get really pissed off if I die. This game is so fun and chaotic that I'm not always focused on killing. Healing and playing defense with one of the tanks has been really rewarding.

So finally starting to get my groove of this game, I have played at least one round with each character. Finally had my first play of the game, a quad kill with Soldier 76. Had a 14 player kill streak, by far my best.

I really love the shifting tactics of this game, as far as what character to choose and what team comp to have. Switching on the fly between characters is great, and its so satisfying when you make smart switch and it pays off.

I was telling the guys that the other night when we played. If it's a close hard fought battle but we come out on the losing end, I'm not too upset about it.
