                    Ya didn't scare me off. I check the board about once or twice a day. Does this game work smoothly on dial up. I'm going to college in about a month and want to make sure I can still play it if I buy now. Thanks for the feedback everyone.

                        Ya didn't scare me off. I check the board about once or twice a day. Does this game work smoothly on dial up. I'm going to college in about a month and want to make sure I can still play it if I buy now. Thanks for the feedback everyone.

                                    I think it'd take forever to download the updates on a dial-up connection...they improve the game by adding stuff, and all that adds up to a pretty decent sized download once every 2 months or so

                                            Just to load the game now and start it up you would have to download all the updates. I do know there are people that do play with dial up, but I've heard them say that they get disconnected a lot.
