How do I get better a black arrow?

I know you guys have some secrets you are not telling me. Granted I haven't played an fps since Halo. I guess that is my main problem. But I am just getting abused playing black arrow with you guys. And the sad part is I haven't been this addicted to a video game in a long time.

    You didn't seem that bad.

Lean around corners, aim for the chest when in an intense firefight. Only aim at the head if you have a shot and they won't shoot before you pull the trigger.

Thats pretty much what I do, you'd be better off asking Sully, Dookie, and nivek..they freaking rule.

Learning the maps is the most important part of the game. Once you learn the maps, you'll always have an idea of where people on the other team will be in certain situations.

Also, when shooting, try to avoid moving while you shoot. Crouching helps your accuracy too. Unless you are on a mad dash to get somewhere, always peak around corners before you turn them.

One other thing I've started to do when in short range firefights is to just keep moving around without shooting. Then, when they have to reload, just crouch down, zoom in and nail them.

Playing a lot of Sharpshooter will not only help you learn the maps, but improve your shot greatly. In close quarters combat, aim for the chest or mid-section, and unload a whole clip into the opponent! Always lean around corners when possible, and make yourself as unhittable as possible when you do. Learn to use grenades, frags especially, can be worth a kill or two a round! Learn where both spawns are so you know the usual "quick" meet point for both spawns on each map! Learn to use the Famas or the Tar, they can be vicious if you have a good headshot!

In Total Conquest, learn to use remote charges to help guard the sattelites!
Always watch your map for killed teammates, or satellite positions!

I have gotten a little better but I haven't been excelling. I usually am on the bottom of the list as far as kills go. I think the its because the teams were stacked though

Why? I am having a hard time seeing any real difference between weapons i guess. I like to use ones with 2x zoom because i can see more of the map when I zoom in that way. Other than that all there is are the attributes right? Damage, range, and accuracy.

practice practice practice. I have to take some of my own advice but the more you play, the better you get. There is always that learning curve. Once you are over the hump, you will see yourself improving quite a bit.
