    Loadout

Didn't see anything posted yet about this new game on PSN. Just downloaded and gotta say am surprised that the game is action packed and pretty good bit of fun. And it's free

3rd person shooter that is wacky models, 4v4 with a domination, capture flag, deathmatch, and base capture modes. The premise is modifying your two guns and in campaign mode getting Loot for those weapon modifications. It does have the micro transactions but thus far I haven't had to purchase anything. I've got a serviceable weapon at the moment using only the in game currency.

The Gore and characters/outfits are over the top. It reminds me of old timekillers and battle arena mixed in one between the player models and the weapons.

Takes a little time to get used to navigating or figuring out how to use your pickups, but easier for me than what War thunder was in that area. And, having not read any manuals I don't know what the fusion option is all about which is taking items from your inventory and combining them.

One last point is that all the modifications are available to test out before purchasing real money coins to buy or using the in game currency which is pretty cool. That way you can find the gear and weapon mods ahead of time and budget accordingly with in game money or not feel like you have to throw more real money at the game. The only caveat is that the mods are leveled and I don't know as you get higher level if you have to upgrade to the same higher levels.

I may throw $20 their way because I do think it's well worth 20 as it is. I'd say it's close to a $30 game granted they continue to update and add models/gear/ mods.

    Re: Loadout

The campaign provides some nice rewards and I haven't really tested the Arena yet (only played it once), but I've found it a lot of fun so far. The shooting mechanics aren't the greatest or tightest, but everything is over the top and cartoony so a little inaccuracy is forgivable to me especially since it is F2P.

The four gun bases will be fun to explore. I changed up my Loadout and am rolling with a Flaming Dud Launcher and the Beam rifle. I'm almost done with the chapter 1 campaign and those last couple of missions are tough depending on what game mode they throw you in.

What I did to somewhat alleviate the issue was to simply lower the sensitivity....I think I lowered it by 10-15 clicks?....while not a complete "fix",it definitely helps.

I had to skip the last 2-3 levels of chapter 1,looking at the difficulty I didn't stand a chance...lmao. So luckily I was able to move on to chapter 2 for some missions, and I replayed some of chapter 1 to build my blutes back up,and also pick up some spacebux as I need to get me some damn bombs to open a few safes...lol

Overall though,I really enjoy this game, and am probably going to drop $20 so I can get me some spacebux and pick up some customization items,as right now everybody looks the same.

The other thing I want to pick up is the "Carlton" dance taunt...lmao

I actually got it from the Lockbox (where bombs are required to open). I'm assuming those are the ones to generally have outfit drops in them, but you have to pay Spacebux for the bombs.

yea, that's what I kinda figured...just another reason for me to drop a $20...lmao.

It's all good though,as I really enjoy the game and don't mind showing a little support.

I found this also that might help with the camera issues and aiming.....

Turn off the "camera bob" on the options menu, reduce the sensitivity and increase the FOV. It will help a bit.
I tried this for a couple of games, and it did seem to help some...so hopefully this will continue to work out until the devs drop a patch.

Its fun figuring out how to play this game as you play, but I'm hitting a wall in the campaign because some of these game modes completely favor an overpowered AI.

yea,I'm starting to get there myself.
It seems no matter what I do,I can never get my weapons powerful enough to compete.

I currently run with an assault rifle, beam and as a backup a launcher....for some reason though, the "upgrades" still seem a bit weak in comparison to the level of enemies.

I've tried to fuse stuff, but to me that seems worthless as it doesn't seem to make my weapons more powerful....so I'm not sure what I may be doing wrong...lol

                      Re: Loadout

Fusion works better if you have duplicates of add-ons since they add additional buffers and can be upgraded to rare. Of course that would involve buying pieces.

I spent money and customized T-Bone who has been renamed to Virgil. There's a lot of great options for outfits and a lot of different facial combinations to really make the avatar your own. I didn't see many options for Helga that I liked, though.

My primary setup is a pyro beam rifle that provides great cover and eats through enemies rushing an area. I was staying out of the fray and getting good results providing coverage from midrange. My second is the pyro, trip-barrel dud launcher. I also run with the turret.

Obviously the campaign is more enjoyable with a group that works together and understands the game mode being played.

Looks as though a "hot fix" was pushed through....

Live on PS4 for North America. Will go live for Europe end of the month/first part of Jan.

                        Fixes crash bugs
                        Adds 10% deadzone
Camera smoothing to help FPS and aiming
                        Additional optimization

                              Re: Loadout

At the beginning I disliked this game since I thought it would force me to spend money but it does not do this unless you want to customize your character. I like how it rewards you for completing missions.

When it comes to the Guns, it is insane. I found that saving 2,700 Blutes or 270 space(whatever) for the last loot crate was rewarding imo. I would get some nice parts for my guns from it. It take about 2-3 campaign games if you play good to get enough Blutes.

So far I am Level 5 and have some strong guns. The best gun I made so far was a Pulse Shot gun that shoots 3 round burst. That gun is insane.

Found out about Fusion after I delete most of the duplicate stuff I had. TBH I wish they would allow me to sell dupes for Blutes. But Ima try out the fusion thing once I get more dupes.
