Another (cheaper) way to do it is to buy a Wireless router (check the compusa ads, I got mine for $30.00) and one wireless AP. The catch is that you need to move your cable/dsl modem to the area of the xbox/ps2. By yuor TV, you hook the Ps2 and XBox up to the wireless router via ethernet cable (wired link) and connect the cable/dsl modem to the wireless router. So, you have the wireless router and Modem by the TV. In the PC room, you put the Wireless AP on your PC. This can be done for around $50.00 with all of the rebates going on now.

i hub(switch) is just a dumbed down router.

Actually a switch is much better than a hub in the respect that everything that goes in a hub goes out. A switch actually forwards packets based on their MAC addresses which is much more efficient.
