Top 5 New Franchises From Last Gen?

Had trouble creating a top five game from last gen list, but was able to come up with something less time consuming for me. So out of all the new franchise that got created last generation which turned out to be your 5 favorites?

Games: BioShock, BioShock 2, BioShock Infinite

The only franchise this generation that I completed every game in the series in [which might the only game I can say that for in any franchise]. BioShock & Bioshock Infinite would be in my top 25 games from last gen and while the second game did miss in many ways for me I still would of gave it a 7/10

Games: Gears of War, Gears of War 2, Gears of War 3, Gears of War: Judgment


My favorite game from last generation was the first Gears of Wars, but after that I only cared for one other game in the franchise {Gears of War3]. I want to say the first game had me logged enough gameplay in it to make it number one on my list, but never living up to what the first one did for me is what drops this game in my list.

Games: Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, Mass Effect 3


I played all 3 games in the franchise, but only completed Mass Effect 2. So I can’t really say the story is what made me like the franchise so much, but the multiplayer is what made me stop playing the story.

Games: Rock Band, Rock Band 2, The Beatles: Rock Band, Green Day Rock Band, Lego Rock Band, & Rock Band 3


The game might of got milk to death last generation, but when it come to the franchise I spent the most money and possibly most time on last generation Rock Band wins that title from me.

Games: Dynasty Warriors Gundum, Dynasty Warriors Gudum 2, Dynasty Warriors Gundum 3, & Dynasty Warriors Gundum: Reborn

The most consistent franchise for me last generation. Out of the 3 games I played in the series I was able to enjoy each installment for over 50 hours and outside of sports franchises I can’t really make that comment for any other game franchise.

I was talking with Tim yesterday about the year Uncharted came out. Aside from Uncharted there was also Assassin's Creed, BioShock, Mass Effect, and Modern Warfare (COD4). Incredible year.

I would also add the Arkham games in their. They are easily the best superhero games out their. I will have to say that Arkham Asylum was way too small of a map, but it makes sense since it was the first game in the series. And that was the only thing I didn't like about the games. And Arkham Knight looks to a great game to end the series.
