Look at 2K15. It took me a few games to even figure out what I was doing. I had to google how to make a 3 pointer cuz I couldn't figure it out. You used to just hit the circle button but now you gotta move the sticks in certain directions.

I'm talking about EA sports games in general.

Of course they are, society keeps getting dumber. Idiocracy is not fiction, it's prediction

It would help if they would include an actual instruction manual with their games. I know they have the 'in-game' manual, but no one wants to pause the game and go through 3 sub-menus just to figure out how to hot route the "X" receiver, and not all of us buy the game every year. That alone would probably help.

Are they? When we grew up we had a NES or SNES controller compared to what we have now. I guarantee it would be hard for us as well.

They are related though, the more technology we get the less brain power we use.

You can use face buttons to shoot. By default on my xbox controller, it's the X button.
              I agree.
If not we'd have a new passing system by now. ie.. like NFL Fevers Read and Lead. It wasn't perfect but
1: just a fine tune it would have been really great and
              2: OPTIONS!!

I'll also add IMO games don't have to be overly complicated control wise to deliver a more diverse gaming experience.
More and more I am sliding back towards my 3DS and WiiU for no othr reason than I can sit down and get right into an enjoyable game whether its a Paper Mario game, Zelda etc..
Is it my age? Who knows.

We need more games with a 1 button mode like Madden used to have. Its nice that they tied difficulty to the different controllers being used but we do need a way for non shooter sports etc gamers to be able to jump into games without feeling like their powerless to do anything and potentially scare them off the genre or make for a bad multiplayer experience.
