Just watch the streams. The game looks pretty cool. Not like GOTY, but it's pretty awesome for a DBZ game. If you played the old games for PS1, the ones that never came over from Japan, it looks a lot like that but you can pull off moves whenever you want.

Also important to note: This game isn't just DBZ. It's DBGT it looks like. And the movies.

Edit: no beam struggles though. That makes me kinda sad.

It goes through a lot of the DB stories, with a story twist from two new characters and one you play as.

Wasn't even thinking about picking this game up until maybe a sale later on, but after watching some streams I may be tempted to pick it up sooner if the PC impressions are good. Looks fun.

Always was a fan of the DBZ games on the PS2 may pick this one up just to see what it's like, got some trade in $$ I wasn't planning on using for awhile.

Didn't know about this, but apparently there is 3 player co-op? About time for a DBZ game.

3v3 sounds like amazing fun, co-op or cpu in any combo I believe.

Always was a fan of the DBZ games on the PS2 may pick this one up just to see what it's like, got some trade in $$ I wasn't planning on using for awhile.

Its not like those games at all. Its not even really a fighting game. Its kinda like an MMO but...idk. watch some vids, kinda hard to explain.

Forgot all about this game until I started watching stream today. Picked it up 4 hours ago. At first it slow and teaching you how to play, but once you get passed it the whole games open up. Just played my first game online and it was fun. Already lvl 10 and I made a Frieza race.

How do I unlock new skills, and clothing? Do I have to play advance the story more?

Forgot all about this game until I started watching stream today. Picked it up 4 hours ago. At first it slow and teaching you how to play, but once you get passed it the whole games open up. Just played my first game online and it was fun. Already lvl 10 and I made a Frieza race.

Doing some of the extra quests (Cant remember the name of them) in the main hub can unlock some of them. that's how I got my 20x Kaokin(spell?). When you select the quest go right to the next page and it will show you what stuff you can unlock. There's also a skill store in the main hub that you can purchase skills from as well.

I went Saiyan with the 1 below max height and I think normal weight. My character is focusing on melee type moves primarily since according to the stats in the beginning it seems that's what they accell at. I hate my outfit but I'm wearing radditz stuff due to it giving me great buffs to melee supers and basic attacks.

Thanks. I seen it after a few games online. Currently trying to get that 20x Kaokin. I need some more Ki base supers and ultimates. I currently have Kamahame, Big Bang Attack, Some ultimate where I shoot a yellow beam from my mouth and a volley ultimate.

I started dumping most of my attributes in to Ki Super and Basic Attack. Got those up to 24 and now im working on my Health, Ki, and Stamina. I want my Frieza character to be a monster with the Ki attacks but still able to do a nice bit of damage with the regular combos. Currently Lvl 24 or 25. Trying to get through most of the story so I can unlock some new moves and gear.

Have you chosen a mentor yet? Because right now I'm waiting until I get the God of Destruction to be mines. I only unlock Vegeta so far.

Yeah the Sayin are good with melee combat but have low health. I would start to dump some attributes into health. 15-20 should be good for a while. You could get Vegeta Outfit if you accept to be his mentor. He will give you special moves and his outfit. It should be way better than Radditz gear. I also seen that you can get SS2 from one of the Parallels Quest, I think it #18 or 19.

Anyone know what happens if you switch mentors? Do you lose the skills you've earned with that person? I've been rolling with Vegeta, not really interested in Piccolo or Krillin but I know eventually someone is gonna come around.

No you dont lose them, I got evil explosion from Picolo, gallick gun from Vegeta and now on Krillen. Got Some combo move and Destructo Disc.
