Man I just wish our best buy wasn't filled with idiots that work there. Always something when I go there.

My account says I am a gamers club unlocked member yet I go there and my games aren't giving me the discount. Then I have to wait around until a manager just gives me the % off manually.

I got to call the gamers unlocked hotline again and see what the deal is. I just looked at my rewards as well and it looks like I didn't get my double points on my trade in or game purchase either.

I mean the program is great but I just wish I could not have all these headaches with it.

On a unrelated note, how many copies of the same game can you get the percentage off on?

Id put money on it our Best Buy in Lafayette is the worst. I would love to shop somewhere else but sadly not many other options and sometimes i don't feel like waiting on a online order. Hell our best buy was one of the only ones in the country to not accept trade ins in store. Place is a joke and I've literally wrote two emails to corporate explaining how incompetent their staff and management is.

Short version I hate BB, yet I spend over $4,000 a year there every year. I hate that fact, I've just learned that none of their employees could work a job which required intelligent problem solving. So a lot of the times now, I just go in and ask directly for a manager instantly, saves just a little bit of time.

For instance I just bought a WD Blue hard drive there the other day. It was $59, well I call my dad and told him he might want to go scoop one up. The next day he gets there and its $49, so he calls me. $10 dollars is 10 dollars so I ride over with my receipt to get the $49 price, NO ONE and I literally mean no one could change the price. They had two regular customer service employees and two managers trying to figure it out. Finally after 45 min of them clueless one manager said "you mind if I just credit the entire purchase back to your card and then ring up the new item?". I DONT CARE JUST DO YOUR JOB!!!! Incompetent pieces of ****. How in the living hell dont you know how to do a credit?!?!

Just playing that back in my heads pisses me off to no end. Im dealing with engineering spec plans and coordinating huge installs, you cant figure out how to refund $10 bucks. I blame BB the company completely for their poorly trained employees!

Didnt mean to turn into I hate BB post but man our store sucks.

Yeah, i've run into a few issues with them being slow/confused on trade ins or stuff like that.

Also an employee (don't know who) stole credit on a gift card I got from trading in once. BB tracked it down and i got like 20 bucks more in the end. That was crazy though.

It's not them. It's the system.
I had the same issues for a while but am fine now for the last 3-4 purchases.
Took a couple calls to help desk.
Originally they said "Had to get figured out in store"..
Turned out to be the system that tracks the club members etc...

The only other issues I've had were just making sure the extra trade % was added.
Anytime there was an issue they simply over rode it and I was fine.

Pretty much all my issues went away once my Best Buy account (online) had the GCU show up with expiration date etc...
before then it was a mess.

I don't really trade in games there, the only problem I've had was a year or so ago they were giving $100 gift card for any 360 or ps3, when i brought my 360 in they were gonna give me $10 for it and had to basically let them know about their own promotion they had going on. I usually buy online and pick it up in store.

Does anyone know if getting the game on release day w/shipping is just an elite perk? I pre ordered The Order 1886 collectors and it came on release day, hopefully that happens with MLB The Show anniversary edition I got from them

I forgot to register mine before the date on the card. That should be fun getting them to figure out what to do with it. Glad I wasn't a complete idiot and saved my receipt. Absolutely stupid they can't activate it to your account when you do an in store pickup.
