    6 Years and 7 days late, Graphik finnally discovers HALO MP

    Wow, now I see why so many still continue to worship this game to no end. It absolutly rocks in multiplayer. I still dont care much for the 1 player game but the multiplayer is finnaly giving me and my guys something to water our mouths over.

    I owned Halo last year and returned it because I was'nt feeling the 1st player and plus I did'nt have anyone who would be over to play MP on a regular basis. But since my guy has moved in, we decided to find our Goldeneye alternative. We still play Goldeneye.(In fact, just this weekend) But since he just brought a XBOX we decided that we'll finnally try out a link cable and play with two tvs so we picked up Halo.

    After a dozen frag fest with just me and him, this game will finnally replace our Goldeneye fettish.(Until the new Goldeneye comes out) So I say hi to yesterday as I'm probably the last person on earth to know that Halo MP roxers my boxers.

      give the single player another shot. I am not much for single play in FPS's but there is such a good story that builds up towards the end that its a shame if you never get to expierience it.


      Matter of fact, the story was so good that i went out and purchased the novel "first strike" in anticipation of Halo 2. And i'm glad i did.

                      Only way I can play it is in co-op. We made it to the 3rd level last night before we decided to play MP. We did'nt think MP was worth only the 2 of us playing but we were wrong. We had a blast killing eachother on the one small map. Cant remember the name of it. But the level design for most of the maps is great. Thats what seperates a good MP game from a great MP game IMO.

                      I'm just a nut for realistic weapons and killing humans thats why I cant really get into the one player. It was fun co-op but I cant get any enjoyment out of blue and green blood along with fancy, sci-fi type weaponry. 90% of the time, I roll out with the pistol because I got a pistol fettsih. Cant wait to try out a MP game with just pistols.

                      BTW, we have'nt tried it yet, but for the link cable to work, do you need 2 XBOXs, 2 TVs and 2 HALO copies? I brought the link cable already but we just played the game on my projection screen so 2 tvs was'nt needed for MP.

                                      To me, it only seems like a dream. I dont even have 16 freinds let alone 16 freinds to play Halo.

                                      Well actually, I have an old freind from my old nierborhood who throws Halo tournaments/parties about 2-3 times a week at his house. 4 tvs, 16 players. I just dont have the time to get that deep into the game. Hopefully, and no I have'nt done the research, Halo 2 is online.

                                      Its actually a good thing I discovered the game now because now I can pre-order part 2 cause I know that game will be "the hardest XBOX game to find" after its release. Ppl called me a fool for trading in the first one, I know part 2 will be like a game that ppl hold on to even if they dont like it.
