    It just plugs into your cigarette lighter. The clamps you see in the pic aren't connected to the inverter. The two outlets on it will work good if you need two things plugged in.

      Okay. Thanks. Do you have one? Will it hold up for an xbox and either a tv or say a car dvd/vcr?

          I have the radio shack one I posted. It works good for my laptop which is listed at 175 watts I believe. I have never looked to see what the wattage on the XBox is, if it is lower than 300 you should be okay. I have never hooked anything up to mine other then my laptop. Most things have the wattage listed on them somewhere, I would just read that for anything that is big like an XBox or a TV. Portable DVD players are fine.
