Re: Call Of Duty: Black Ops III
The lag compensation is obviously still in the game. Its laggy for everyone, all the time. It would be laggy if you were playing it on a LAN. Thats the way the games have been designed since BO1 or WaW. The idea is to take away as much of the skill gap as possible to give the bad player a better chance at killing the good player.
That said, some people can't tell its there and some people just don't care. Please don't tell me the game isn't lagging though, its ridiculous. lolComment

Re: Call Of Duty: Black Ops III
After playing this last night, I went back to Titanfall and the movement is so much better in Titanfall (I know this is just the beta). Sorry to be that guy lol.Comment

Re: Call Of Duty: Black Ops III
I guess when others are referring to lag, they're talking about lag compensation. Which is true, it's there.
SinisterAlex, have you ever been killed after getting a couple of shots off, then watching the other guy's kill cam and realized that he never saw you fire a single bullet? That is where lag compensation is coming into play. It actually rewards people with a worse connection. I'm sure there are videos that dissect and analyze this which you can find all over YouTube (or the new gaming YT site).Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

I've gotten to the point with Call of Duty where I play to have fun and could careless about the outcomes of my games or what happens to me in each game. I was a super competitive try hard type player from CoD4 thru to Black Ops 1, if I went anywhere near a 1:1 K/D ratio it would bother me. If some B.S death happened I'd lose my mind. Now I just play and not worry about the game. I'm still a good player as I've maintained a steady 2.0+K/D for years but I don't let myself get frustrated with this franchise any longer.Xbox LIVE GT: oALEXtheGREATo

Re: Call Of Duty: Black Ops III
I don't watch killcams anymore, haven't for a long time. As soon as I die I'm spamming square/X to respawn. I'm not say that lag comp isn't there I just don't notice it while playing. Even if I did notice it, I wouldn't even care.

Re: Call Of Duty: Black Ops III
Lag compensation is hand and hand when you play COD MP. Its either with you or not. It varies from game to game. Once I understood how it works I can easily recognize what side of the lag compensation im on.
Sinister has the right frame of mind when playing Cod. You know you're good just play the game and eff it. You sit there stressing your K.D and you just don't enjoy yourself playing.
I didn't think I was going to like BOPS3, but the beta changed my mind. I really enjoyed the game. The fact that it has some destiny elements in it lol, also made it more enjoyable for me.
I'm looking forward to the game. I shocked im saying this lolSimply *Magic* Just click the link and Watch :)

Re: Call Of Duty: Black Ops III
The game also looked sharper on the PS4. I'm still getting it on the one simply because that is where I have all my friends.
Im with you on the PS4. I didnt notice it on the PS4 either, but on the one I noticed it big time.Simply *Magic* Just click the link and Watch :)

Re: Call Of Duty: Black Ops III
PS4 played flawless for me. Hit detection in the beta reminded me of Call of Duty 4 and that game IMO had the best hit detection in the franchise next to Modern Warfare 2. My only main issues with the beta were just balancing issues. That M8A7 4 burst rifle was crazy accurate with a super fast fire rate and literally no recoil. Though I read they did nerf it a bit by adding a longer pause between bursts and more of an upward recoil pattern.
This is the first Call of Duty in awhile that I'm legitimately excited for. I've said this numerous times in this thread that no Call of Duty will ever capture the simplicity and additive nature that Call of Duty 4 thru Black Ops 1 had but at least Black Ops 3 is FUN. In the end that's all that matters to me now a days.Xbox LIVE GT: oALEXtheGREATo

Re: Call Of Duty: Black Ops III
The movement in the game felt, I don't know. Clunky. It didn't feel smooth at all.
Obviously Beta is Beta.. so we'll see when the game comes out.--

Re: Call Of Duty: Black Ops III
I was telling some guys in the GroupMe chat the other day that this series will never die. I had barely touched Advanced Warfare after beating the campaign, but I've been running online this weekend and having a great time. I enjoyed myself in the beta for this a well.
As far as shooters go, it's hard to beat the pickup and play multiplayer experience that COD offers. I enjoy Last of Us a lot and I played quite a bit of Battlefield 4 too, but sometimes you just wanna run and gun. I'll be buying Black Ops III.Comment
