I have 20 bucks, is KOTOR worth it??

I have 20 bucks burning a hole in my pocket. I've read a lot about this game and how great it is. I've never played a RPG nor am I big fan of Star Wars...but yet I want a good cheap RPG to see if i'll like the genre before buying a new game like Fable???

What should I do with my 20 bucks???

Yeah it's worth it. I played through it three times when I bought it last year. Each experience was different. It was my first RPG also, but I am a Star Wars fan, so you may or may not like it. From what I've heard it is more of an action based RPG, but you still don't have total contol during combat. I'm not sure you could compare this RPG to Fable, because the combat system might be different.

From what I've heard it is more of an action based RPG, but you still don't have total contol during combat. yeah, it's totally different from Fable I think, but this is the best RPG I've played...I used to like the FF series, but too much like a movie, KOTOR is a lot more action, and the storyline is great. I like Star Wars, but not a massive fan...it doesn't matter, the story just grabs you. It's definitely worth 20 bucks

yeah, it's totally different from Fable I think, but this is the best RPG I've played...I used to like the FF series, but too much like a movie, KOTOR is a lot more action, and the storyline is great. Fable is more open-ended, and KOTOR's fighting system is turned base, which can get a little boring at times, but KOTOR is why I've started to keep my eyes open for RPG's.

On a side note, when does Jade Empire come out?

KOTOR is well worth the $20. I had it and completed it on the Dark Side. Two weeks ago Best Buy had it on sale for $14.99 and I picked it up again to do the lightside story
