I have an Xbox from about 2 years ago. I've had a few problems with it recently (nothing major) and also tried playing a burned DVD in it the other day that didn't work. I'm considering returning it (I bought the product replacement plan) but I know I've heard about the different drives the new XBox uses vs. the old XBox.
Would I be better off holding onto my older Xbox? Do the newer XBoxes read burned DVDs? How big of a pain is it to transfer all my XBox live settings to my new XBox?
