    Re: Mass Effect: Andromeda

This is the game above all games I'm waiting for. Good to see something official.

Though I thought the country western music was a miss and the sound effects were very Michael Bay Transformers.
    We are the music makers...

Hell Shepherd was probably cryogenically frozen. He was put back together in ME2......

I wonder if the game only takes a couple of years after ME 3 if they will do it off the Shepard is alive ending and you see him or something during the game.

I wouldn't want that, maybe a statue of him or someone telling a story about him. Shepard was great to play as and the trilogy was a master piece but I honestly feel like the less they have about the trilogy, the better.

I was one who played ME3 a while after the game came out, so I got the patch that added the "happy" ending. When I left ME3, Shepherd was alive and well but most of his crew had crashlanded on an uncharted planet with the mass effect relays broken. Personally, I want to know what happens right from that point. Whether or not we play as Shepherd or we learn of what happened, I MUST know.

The Asari and Krogan do. Turians are similar to human. Although, even if my boy Garrus could live to be 1000, he'd probably die way before that. Any cameos would probably be limited to Liara and Grunt, as Samara and Wrex were pretty old in the trilogy.

Personally, I'd rather see them take the ME universe and try something different with it. No need to bring the trilogy out of retirement. "Mass Effect: Star Trek" was one of the first things that came to mind after watching the video.

I agree. It's not even that the characters were so memorable it's just that they were strong and they were compelling the way they were written! We won't miss anyone when the new game drops and there are new characters. You can easily create another loose asari woman lol.

speaking of the flings, my sheppard hit everything! I was with the asari, jack (that was cool), the hot blond, the brunette, the only one I didn't want was Tali - yuck!

The new game it would be cool if you're a character like space balls where you live a little outside the law and kind of scavange to make a living in seedy places but find out you have a unique role to play in the grand scheme of things. or something like that lol.

I know EA put water on the fire of a trilogy remake, but I'm still holding out hope as you look at what Uncharted is doing. Tide over your core fans until Feb and get new interest to maximize sales for their fourth installment.

                          What do you guys think?

If ALL the DLC is included (including special preorder items), I'd hit it, no questions asked.

How would that work? The core game mechanics from the first one to the third one are vastly different. Are you just asking for an HD remake? Graphics are already pretty good on PC..though they could def be higher res.

Pretty much. Just a remaster. No need to turn ME1 into ME3
