I had a glitch where I landed in between 2 boulders and couldn't climb out. I literally had to blow myself up a few times to kill myself.

That's happened to me many times. Unless you are being actively hunted by Unidad or cartel you can fast travel to one of your safehouses too.

Fast traveling is boring though. Also you miss out on a lot of intel by fast traveling.

From what I've read, the DLC is a separate experience using the same game world. There's no item/progress carryover between the DLC and the main game. The main game on its own will keep you plenty busy.

The DLC is straight BS. It is like Fast & The Furious had a baby with Just Cause. Over the top non sense. Got you drifting for the sake of drifting and doing acrobatic stunts just to unlock missions. Just terrible and on the top of that, the new vehicles and even the plane & helicopter in the DLC handle POORLY.

Who ever green lighted this DLC should be fired. Doesn't go with the theme of Wildlands at all. They also make your character try to be a comedian and gave him the most awful one liners that he says repeatedly.

DLC is a straight -1 out of 10.

So true. I actually don't leave a province until I'm done all the missions and have collected all of the intel, skill points and weapons/parts. Part of the reason it's taking me so long to get through this, but It's been kind of nice to work it this way I find.

Yeah, of course I downloaded digital last week for $59 and now it's on sale (physical copy though). Oh well. I'm glad some of you guys got a deal. It's right up my alley.. well worth the $59 for me.

I've got about 7 hours in so far & I'm still in the first area..

Here's a couple things I like and dislike about the game..
Pros:
-3rd person view (& can use first-person or third-person for aiming)
-Character customization (my dude smokes a cigar.. lol).. 5 Slots to save different 'outfits'.. and there are a lot of options unlocked from the start.
-Weapon customization and realistic effects from changes (haven't unlocked a ton yet, but has potential)
-Bullet drop at long ranges
-Map is HUGE
-Creative and various ways to accomplish a mission
-Realistic damage.. ie.. 1-3 well-placed bullets and an enemy is down. (this is Great)
-"Extreme" difficulty is challenging (when not abusing sync shot)..
-Can change HUD
-Suppressor doesn't get "used up".. (I'm looking at you MGS:V.. lol)
-Varied environments (from what I've seen online)
-Day/Night cycle
-Parachuting/Skydiving!
-Can carry two primary weapons and one pistol (I hate when there's only one primary + secondary)
-There is fast travel if you need to cover ground more quickly (can't find a heli!)
-Using a drone to spot is pretty cool.. Can't wait to get some upgrades for it.
-Playing solo is do-able

Neutral:
-Can change loadout/outfit anytime.. Not very realistic, but it is very convenient
-No "cover" button, but honestly, it hasn't been an issue.

Cons:
-Different outfits don't effect stealth. This would've been awesome, but no, everything is just cosmetic.
-Vehicles drive a little wonky.. takes some getting used to.
-Vehicles driving down mountains can be hilarious looking and pretty unrealistic.. and squadmates often are completely silent when careening off a mountain.
-Sync shot never misses? And they shoot through walls?
-Some repetitive lines of dialog among squadmates, but that seems to have gotten much better after latest patch
-No customizing AI teammates (thanks for the reminder Bigg Cee)
-Teammates warp to you when you leave them behind

They really need to make customizing your AI teammates a option in the next patch and make it so you don't leave your team members behind when doing a mission. I hate the fact they magically warp to you anytime you leave them behind. This game would have been sooooo much more tactical if you had to make sure your teammates are with you at all times or you can't finish the mission.

They also need to make killing civilians a instant game over. It would have been great to pick your shots in a shoot out, but the way it is you can actually kill a few of them before it's game over. It should be any civilian killed is instant game over and re spawn at safe house.

Wow, I couldn't disagree more on the civilian thing. For one, it's a game and it would be quite frustrating if someone is killed by mistake and boom, mission over. And for two, it's highly unrealistic as well. Do you think innocent civilians are not killed in the real drug operations by mistake? Of course they are every day, it happens.

Deduct points and sure, end the game if you target them intentionally but if civilians get killed during the course of a regular mission, that happens.
