I don't know. Are we ever even getting more than 4v4? Maybe 8v8, max?

I'm all for more players but I don't ever see them adding a Battle Royale style mode. GR has never been that type of game I just don't see why they'd start now.

I have no idea. I'm not saying they are going to do it, just saying it's definitely feasible. I would like to see some game modes that are larger than 4v4.

I highly doubt we would see a BR type game mode, but it'd sure be fun. It's a way better looking game than PUBG, better map, better mechanics, better optimization...they'd sell copies by the truck load if they pulled it off.

I guess it's just a personal preference. If I wanted PUBG or the like I'd play it, or 64 player BF. I enjoy GR because it's NOT those games.

Ghost Recon Wildlands

This is the best shooter I’ve played in a very long time. Get a group of 4 guys with mics and it’s pure ecstasy. Ok maybe not that but pretty damn close to it.

This is a fun mode. Its challenging and makes you work as a team. Played several games last night and enjoyed it a lot. This game does things other do not. The only draw back for me is the actual shooting, I find it to be lacking. But for a game you cant pass it up.

I have a weird issue with this game. I'm a PC user so this won't affect console players.

I like to play this game with an Xbox 1 controller, with the driving/flying it's one of the rare shooters I'd pick controller over mouse & keyboard. The problem is once I move to the online 4v4 I want to switch to mouse & keyboard for weapon accuracy. I'm then met by the most alien button scheme ever lol. C for prone down? Z for drone??

I know I can change the button scheme but I've been to lazy and just go back to singleplayer & controller

Worst part is the SP controls don't carry over, so you have to set them again if you set them for SP first. It's actually asinine. I know there are some differences but it should bring whatever is the same over to MP.

Anyway, if you do change the settings for PvP (and you should), don't do it from the main menu, more sure you're in the Ghost War menu.

Any suggestions for control layout? My weak hearted attempt was to mimic my PUBG keys but it throws some things off which I'm not to sure where to go with those.

It definitely took me some trial and error. I'd say a good hour's worth of play and tweaking as I felt changes being needed.

I keep the same layout for: Sprint, crouch, prone, walk - as I do for all my shooters. I bet most do, so keep those your go to.

It seems more daunting than it actually is. My suggestion won't be a 1 for 1 because I use a Belkin gamepad with a non-default button setup but I'll do my best. A lot of keys are surprisingly interchangeable because you don't have the "normal" peak/use etc, which you already know from SP.

I found these to require the most tweaking + plus my setup:

Interact - middle mouse button
Swap Shoulder View - e
Switch Trigger (while aiming) - z
Switch Scope (while aiming) - c
Aim Mode - d-pad down on gamepad - easily accessible left-thumb

Binoculars - x
Use Item - c

I'm sure there's some more and you will likely have a different setup. My best suggestion is get it where you THINK it looks comfortable and when something didn't work like expected, change the buttons til you get it right. Even if it's mid-match, mid-fight. It's worth it to get it right sooner than later.

Appreciate it, I played 4 to 5 rounds last night of Ghost War and surprisingly I was on fire. I ran pointman all night and just focused on pushing guys hard with flashbangs. I finished every round but 1 with the most kills.

I still need to tweak some of my controls, but its getting better.

This game is beautiful on pc with a GTX 1080ti

I had that right and sold it because I just cant mess with PC...I want to plug and play with my controller on even playing fields and that is why the X will be amazing to me.

But even on my high end PC with the 1080ti, I could not get 60fps at 4k

It had to be 1440p but I could get 30fps which is what is on consoles at 4K and it was glorious with all settings maxed.

I am wondering what we will get patched for the X version which is 900p on the x and is blurry mess.

PS4 PRo looks nice at 1440p no checkerboarding

I am hoping for 1800p on the X checkerboard to 4K with solid 30fps and higher texture quality

That's awesome man. We should Squad up, you're on my Uplay friends list already.

Pointman is my go-to if some takes Ranger. Get the best or both worlds with a rifle and an SMG. Quick enough to get in the mix but still keep space and be effective at medium+ range.
