Re: Ghost Recon Wildlands
Entirely open world. You can complete the regions and "story" in literally any order you want. Now, the regions are rated from 1 to 5 in terms of "difficulty level", which if you're early in the game with low level squad and gear skills, you may find yourself struggling some if you head immediately into some of the strongest, hardest regions in the game, but you can do that if you wish to do so.
There is no set specific path for you to work your way through the regions, the game or even the divisions of Santa Blanca. If you want to completely wipe out the entire Security arm of Santa Blanca before even bothering with any of the other three, you can do that if you wish to.

Or I can just say to hell with it and go in guns blazing while chucking grenades and C4, I can call in mortar strikes from the rebels who are supporting me, or I can jump in a helicopter and fly in overhead with miniguns roaring and fire some rockets up their asses.
There are a ton of different ways you can approach missions and enemy bases and installations.

Re: Ghost Recon Wildlands
Yeah, the amount of weapons and weapon mods, plus the tactics like you said make it a favorite of mine. I love being able to slowly approach an enemy base or camp from high ground, scout the camp via drone or binoculars, then either silently take out everyone in it from distance via sniper rifle and tagged kills by my AI teammates, or find the weak spot, sneak in and start methodically working my way through the base on foot, killing everyone who crosses my path.

17+ GB, holy ****e! Thank God for having my PS4 in low power mode so that will hopefully download by itself (if it hasn't already) while I'm sitting here at work.

Re: Ghost Recon Wildlands
Just bought the Standard of this for my One X yesterday for $20 (gotta have that Enhanced graphics). Played a few hours and so far, so good. If anyone is playing this on Xbone, I'd love to co-op and multi with ya.
Are there additional things I should maybe be considering to purchase for this, like a season pass or whatever? Kinda confused on what is free and what is not. Thanks.Comment

Do I need season pass for the update? I have the standard version of the game.

Re: Ghost Recon Wildlands
As far as I know there was a Year 1 pass and now a Year 2 pass....both including various DLC which I'd bet is available singularly.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Ghost Recon Wildlands
I'm finding this scratches my Far Cry desire with the huge map and finding various places to assault, either by guns or stealth...yet with crazy in depth guns/parts, etc.
The Drone is amazing too. It's so satisfying to keep sending it up, finding people to mark, and sync shotting them.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Ghost Recon Wildlands
DLC is free. Wish the RB6 tie in was longer. But much like the Splinter Cell tie in, pretty short and the tie in characters don't help you what so ever. The ending of the DLC was good though.Comment
