Re: Ghost Recon Wildlands
I wasn't expecting a new one until next year at the earliest -- this is awesome news! For the first attempt on this generation of consoles, they killed it. I'm sure the next one will be even better. I just want them to make sure they keep the same level of lore with the videos, documents, etc. That was one of my favorite things about the game. I can't wait to see where we go next and what group we're taking down.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

4 classes, new big releases every 4 months after launch. Looks like a lot of new features and things like that. Still watching, but they've listened to the community so fingers crossed it's awesome!Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Ghost Recon Wildlands
Very early in the game, but man I suck. I can't beat the Rebel Radio mission.
I may have to do some side stuff to build up myself and my team before I continue with the main missions.Comment

Just firing this up again after a long hiatus. Never really gave it much of a chance when it first came out, but now I'm really enjoying it.

Playing it currently too. Glad to be able to spend alot of time into it and not beat it in 2 weeks.
There are still a ton of guns i havent gotten yet.Comment

For you guys that have played the new GR: Do you prefer Wildlands or Break Point?

Re: Ghost Recon Wildlands
For me, this is a tough question. I Wildlands was one of my favorite games ever. I got 100% and over 100 hours into it. I just kept wanting to come back.
I'm not feeling that want to play with Breakpoint. I think a lot of it is the fact there you can't have AI teammates yet. I think once we get that, I will probably be more into it.
I also like Wildlands streamlined gameplay mechanics. I liked how weapons worked better than Breakpoint. I'm not a big fan of the skill tree and the RPG elements.
But I still do like Breakpoint. I don't think you can go wrong either way.Comment

Re: Ghost Recon Wildlands
I must have had one too many Smirnoff Lite's (Raspberry flavoured, natch) when I first tried Wildlands.
I am in love with this game. I've barely touched the missions. I find myself at times stealing helicopters and parachuting into compounds just for the heck of it.
So many things to do and ways to do it. Love trying to complete missions with perfect stealth.
Most times I mess something up and all hell breaks loose - which is fun too.Comment

Re: Ghost Recon Wildlands
I think it got better after the long awaited updates, rather than it being what it is now at release.
Anyway, yeah the main thing i hate is when youre spotted, they mainly just gun for you and not your teammates, who can stand in the wide open without being picked off like a one hit her quit her.Comment

Re: Ghost Recon Wildlands
Granted, it's only based on a few hours of playing Breakpoint but based on those few hours, I don't see Breakpoint coming close to Wildlands for me as there's so much more negatives than positives in those few hours than I remember having in 150+ hours in Wildlands.
For Breakpoint, I don't like the social hub, the required internet connection, the user interface and menus, the gear score, the survival elements like stamina for example and the writing and dialogue is a lot worse. Also don't like the fake location of the game. Would have preferred an actual real life location.
Wildlands wasn't perfect but you can clearly see Ubisoft rushed Breakpoint and I don't know why they changed it from what Wildlands was. Maybe the story turns out better in Breakpoint but I can't say either way but what I can say is that I loved the story in Wildlands. Loved the entire Drug Cartel storyline and in Bolivia too!!! Reminded me of Scarface a little bit.
Of course, it's in my backlog and not sure when im going to play it. Maybe February as im really waiting to see if Ubisoft patches out all the stuff that I don't like in the game or at the very least, give the option to turn it off simply because it comes across like it's meant to be the jungle version of The Division 2 and that's simply not what I want from Breakpoint after loving and enjoying Wildlands.Comment

Yeah my buddies and me have decided to not touch Breakpoint. Wildlands is simply too good to switch over.
If they had just added a few things to Wildlands like:
Weapon lights
White Phos NVGs
Maritime lids
Glocks
Safariland holsters
Smoke grenades
I might not need to buy another Ghost recon game again lolComment
