A lot of Tomb Raider in this game but I'm ok with that,seems to be living up to the hype which is a tall order because it has been built up massively.
Gone in on the highest difficulty but am struggling a bit,I'm going to drop back a level.
A seasoned gamer would probably tear it up on the highest mode but I'm an average player at best.

yeah I just started clearing some Vantage spots. Loving the back story and just how well done the characters are. It feels very The Witcher to me in this aspect. Every character seems to have their story and life. While not as in depth or developed as The Witcher it still feels really organic.

Loving this game more and more every time I play.

2 hours into this game and Aloy is a pretty sweet main character and the story seems pretty cool so far. Love the beginning as a kid. I love when video games do that in general. (Uncharted 3 and 4)

Also this game looks amazing on my 4K TV after I messed with all the settings to get the right color and brightness on it.

Glad I bought this game.

Did I miss anything big in any of the cutscenes at the beginning when you're going through a cave type area and find your way out at the end? I was spamming x thinking I had to jump and climb out and I ended up skipping 2 or 3 cutscenes. I'm not sure why they made cutscene skipping as x. Most games nowadays make you hold circle or options.

I was spamming x thinking I had to jump and climb out and I ended up skipping 2 or 3 cutscenes. I'm not sure why they made cutscene skipping as x. Most games nowadays make you hold circle or options.

I know, I've accidentally skipped a few too, why not make it something like L1 + R1 skips?

If I remember right.... In summary.

Rost at first is just thankfully to find you but questions the device on your temple. Tries to take it from you but you refuse. Tells you that if you're gonna start sneaking away from home it's time to learn to survive in the wilds.
