After I went out and bought a 600 dollar PS3 for this exact thing after E3 a couple of years ago I'm still salty. Lol. Luke I said, I'll believe it when I see it.

I actually never beat that game...I got all the way to basically the final 1% of the game over winter break one year, but then the bro took the PS back to school, and by the time I picked it back up again in the summer, I totally forgot what I was supposed to be doing and just gave up (after flying the airship around for hours trying to jog my memory).

Maybe I'll try to set a record for longest interval between starting and finishing a game...

Hard to comment much since we only know that it exists. Aside from being floored that it actually DOES finally exist. There's so much I want to know about it, but Squenix themselves probably don't even know the answers to those questions yet.

It's the game that got me hooked on Role-Playing games - it's practically guaranteed to be a day one buy for me.

But if they did it still be the best FF to release in the past like 10 years and sell like hotcakes.

They better not **** with the combat, I be so pissed and I know many others that would be as well. This real time combat system that todays games have is supposed to be a "evolution" but its horrible.

Kinda. It had a mode where the action completely paused when you brought up the menus, allowing you to select commands without being attacked, but the basic system was the same.
