Waiting for the disc version on January 31st. Will either buy the game or rent it via GameFly. Either way, I'll be playing this game in early 2017.

Tempted to get this game. I mean, really want it with it being $30 on PSN. Only thing holding me back is the online only. Physical copy coming out next month. So conflicted.

Pre-ordered Hitman: The Complete First Season for PlayStation 4 last night from Best Buy and should get it on Wednesday February 1st. Will definitely be turning off "opportunities" and "instinct" to make the game feel more like an old school Hitman game. Looking forward to playing it.

its a great game.
You could always play the game offline, it was just that your unlocks wouldn't be there and stuff like that.

I ended up getting internet halfway though the episodes, so Im not sure about anything else. I think they added a game save where you could save your unlocks and use them offline. Not sure though.

I know you cant do the elusive contracts without online, and youll need to download the bonus episodes even if you buy the disc version

the landslide bonus episode is excellent.
much better than the previous two.

The whole sapienza location with exception to the mansion and lab is open.
So the target actually has a route that takes him to the church and all those offices that weren't used in the other sapienza levels.

I wanted the physical copy so I'm extremely late to the HITMAN party, however, it was well worth the wait (plus, I had other games I was playing through while they were releasing each episode).

Level design is phenomenal so far throughout my time in Paris and Italy -- the absurd amount of opportunities and creative ways to eliminate your target(s) adds so much replayability to the game.

e.g. Finding the evacuation plan while exploring Paris, locating their safe room and planning everything out. There was nothing more satisfying than removing Viktor's douche body guard from the equation, calling the evacuation plan from his phone and causing panic while they ran to the safe room.

As they both scatter to the room, there I wait right outside watching Dalia pick up my explosive rubber duck. Good riddance.

Moving onto Italy, my first run lasted an hour and 27 min (level is HUGE!). The run was successful but got quite stressful at times, haha.

Second run took me an hour and 10 min, trying other methods/routes and scouting opportunities for my next run.

Third run took me 33 minutes and was able to complete the task via suit only/silent assassin rating.

Did the Ho Ho Ho challenges last night. My advice is do them all in one run. I ran into an issue with the Bad 47 challenge and knocking out Marv for the 3rd time. No one was around so he didn't get back up. Oh vey. I finally made my way back down (now dressed as Santa) and dragged him to an area where people would find and wake him. Then had an issue where Harry stopped doing his route and had to go back down again to get him to move. Then I made it back to the finale and had just missed the final challenge. So I reloaded a save from 5 mins prior and beat them to the spot this time. Then took the new exit only for this challenge (up the chimney) and unlocked Santa suit lol. Which I plan to now use in the desert map lol

Turning off all of the aids on my first run through any particular mission has been one of the most pure gaming experiences I've had in a long time. Later on they're more useful for finding the different ways to complete the mission, but finding your own solution that first time feels very rewarding.
