... graphics are awesome...

bugs.. i havent seen anything significant.. only some issues with the video.. but i think that was a result of not having my video card drivers up to date...

oh yeah.. my sim is married now with 2 kids.. 1 boy... 1 girl.. holy! it is hard managing a family of four compared to a bachelor.. really... really ... really hard..

but.. i'm getting better..

my character Zak Falco married Nina Caliente (i think it was nina.. maybe it was the other one.. it's the one with the red hair) anyways.. they have two kids... a boy-child Yorick and a girl-infant Hero...

so far Yorick has been a good boy... he isnt a mean kid.. he is nice.. he cleans up after himself and he does his homework! hopefully Hero will be the same way..

i actually can't wait till they are teenagers and i can move them out into their own homes.. maybe impregnate the next door neighboor's daughter..

Does this game really take up 3.5 GB of hard drive? That's what it says on the minimum requirements. That's a ton!

my sim2 folder is 2.7 gigs - that does not include the same games folder ect.

I have a couple questions about it.

When I leave to go to a community lot how to I make it so "Time" advances at my house. What really bothers me is I'll go to one of these places and everything will be saved the way I left it. Can I change that so time advances. It seems like a cheat otherwise.

It seems the AI sims don't age. I had one of my sims a day or two from becoming an elder and he married an AI sim. When the AI sim came into the house she had the full amount to go before becoming an elder.

How do I start over. I wanted to start a game over again with the same characters but unfortunately I don't see an option in-game to start over.

I know what you are saying about AI characters, but your concept is a little off as there are really no AI characters. You can go into any house any play with any group of people you wish. So if you are not in house time does not pass. Likewise, every house is yours, not just the one you create or "play" with.

Ya I figured that. It just feels too much like Sim 1 where you lived in a fishbowl. Plus it really makes the whole "generation" useless. advance 3 generations and my "sim" parents who live in another house don't die, why have this whole aging aspect? Or am I doing something wrong?

Its cool that my sims age and have a family but I don't get how the community is connected. It really just feels like Sims 1.5.

I guess I just expected this to be more a neighborhood game than just a individual "life simulator".

Anyone have the XBOX version? i noticed it is in the BC update. I love the PC version but how is it on a console? does it feel different?

it is way different from the PC version. I havent played 2, but I played the first console version and Bustin Out. It's just different, thats all i can really say. Look up some gameplay videos and see for yourself (the game should be like 4 bucks now at gamestop).


In the first console game me and my buddy stayed up all night playing co-op in the same house. We had a lot of fun with the game that night but we never got into it ever again.
