What do you do with old games?

I have some old games with little or no trade in value that are just taking up space. Is there any place that I could donate them to charity or something.

This may sound stupid. But check your local library. I know my library rents out video games and they don't have a huge selection and might accept some of the games. Also the Salvation Army is another good place to get rid of them.

Could try searching the net for people who would be interested in them, like niche collectors. Other than that I think donating them to a local charity shop is a great idea!

I keep my old games and go back and play them from time to time. I would go back and play them even more but I am not a kid any more 26 so I don't have has much free time has I used to. So I have decided what games I am going to play more then other games.

Cool of you to look to donate. If you do decide to sell games that generally have not much value you might have the best luck selling them as a bundle on Ebay. Seems like you can get $4-$5 per game if the are in a decent size lot or collection.

I get them to our men and woman serving in our armed forces overseas. We have some care boxes at certain UPS and Mail Boxes etc locations. I give old video games I know I never will play anymore as well as DVD's.

They can use some entertainment when they have some down time.

I'll have to look into that. I rarely trade in nowadays as is given the ridiculously low trade in values so I have a bunch of old games collecting dust.

I used to donate PS1 games to Goodwill.
