This game was awesome and a easy platinum trophy on PS4.

I came in thinking how fun can this setting be without dinsouars but then I was blown away with the game design and how fun it is to hunt all these different animals and have them at your command. Also the story ain't half bad.

Just a great game overall. One of the best far cry games of the series.

Glad you enjoyed it. I am just finishing up some side quests and collectibles at this point. One of the best open world games I have played. And quite frankly this is my favorite Far Cry game in the series now.

I will go back to this one day and play on survival mode. That looks intense.

Now it is on to Horizon Zero Dawn for a good while. I can see finishing that before The Show 17 hit's or shortly after.

Anyone know what kind of progress is actually required to get your second chance back? I still haven't figured it out and just died tonight trying to take an outpost so now I am curious as to if there is anything concrete I can do that is "safe" to get a life back.

I never figured it out, I did a couple journeys, but ended up having a sabretooth jump my lion and me out of nowhere at night and kill us both within 10 seconds, so I lost that save. Instead of being bummed, though, I liked it. The game is fun enough I don't mind restarting it and I love how death means something.

I'm back at this game after a break due to other games taking precedence. Just tamed the Bloodfang Sabertooth. That thing is pretty awesome and is my best tamed beast so far. I'm also using my owl more in attacks since everything left for me to take over on the map is either Hard or Very Hard.

I'm about to start my 5th Second Chance. Still never beat the game. I stopped doing expert after 4 tries. I just lost my Hard save not to dying, but to losing power during a save.... At this point I am just about tempted to ditch second chance.

I finally beat the game on second chance. It took me right around 12 to 14 hours in this playthrough alone. I sort of sped through it at times, skipped all of the cut scenes I had seen 3 or 4 times over. I also played it on Normal this time after getting irritated with losing my Hard save.


I enjoyed the game a lot despite apparently not being too great at it, at least on Expert. It's right up there near my favorite in the franchise. Now I can move onto 5 sometime soon.
