This game is amazing. From the get go, you get that big budget feel to it as the story-telling and play acting are just top notch. I'm already emotionally attached to these characters. QDreams has captured back that "Heavy Rain" feel again and with a number of QTEs which are done well for the most part. One of the coolest moments in the early goings when you're playing Markus was when Markus was with Karl and he sends you to find something to do. Play the piano. It was well done.

I'm also about 3 hours in and I need to stop. I'm addicted to the story lol. Can't wait to play again.

I gotta say, the faces, overall bodies and motions and actions of everyone are incredibly well done and realistic looking. Other than an occasional moment where a mouth might not match up exactly with a word or two, this game looks absolutely amazing. This is the level of detail in faces and characters that I would love to see every and all games reach and accomplish some day!

Yeah, now that I'm reading it took about 15 hours, I will reconsider.

Going to finish God of War first. Then I'll pick this one up.

Is it easy to pause in the middle of things? Not going to be able to enjoy this story uninterrupted with a one year old.

Very easy. There are many save points when the cinema clips are activated. I've also found it gamer-friendly when I had to stop a crime scene investigation breakdown reveal and had to stop and jump in again without really missing a beat.

They did a damn good job on these stories. By chapter 7, I was already emotionally attached to the characters, more so Kara, Alice and Markus than Conner, but some of my decisions have ended up being driven on emotion based on what's happening (cough the Stormy Night chapter cough) than based on logic or reasoning.

I'm at the part where all three characters on the Jericho. I'm escaping with Kara and Alice and the instructions said "Follow Luther", however the big dude just stood still and never moved so I decided to run and apparently went in the wrong direction and got captured. Is my story with them over or does something else pop up? That's where i left off.

It didn't end. It moved forward with them at the camp which was saved by Markus.

Oh good to know. I always did wonder what would happen. I was so terrified of getting caught.

So how did it end for you ? Did everybody make it ? For me:

Luthor died at Rose house. Adam I think, the first leader/founder of Jericho died too. Alice died while I was crossing the river trying to get into Canada. Kara was badly wounded but survived in Canada. Hank was killed.

All 3 main characters lived. North lived, Alice lived, and I'm not sure about Luther. We saw Luther at the camp and he went to help us find Alice, but then he was never seen from again. Josh died during the charge. Hank died (but i don't feel bad about him. He stated he was trying to kill himself but couldn't pull the trigger himself during that park bench conversation w/ Connor. Simon (the first leader) died during the tower broadcast, I didn't choose to save him.
