World of Tanks was finally released for the PS4 this past Tuesday and after playing the beta last month, I decided to download this F2P MMO. You don't need PS+ to game against others but PlayStation Plus members will gain access to a Premium Bundle at launch including the exclusive Pz.Kpfw. II Ausf. J German Light Tank with 3 days of Premium Account time, along with special discounts on other purchases.
Also those who log into the game before the end of January will receive the free T1E6-PS US Premium Light Tank with special camouflage. (see pic 1) Also included in the release version and available until April 30 is the Panzer Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. H Elite tank, which can be unlocked by battling with the regular version of this tank.
After a couple of kills, I was able to purchase the US T22 Prototype (pic 2). It's not as difficult or comprehensive as War Thunder but I still need to gain points/credits so I can assign a crew before I can go into battle. It does seem you get credits much faster than WT however the number of players seems to be only in the hundreds during the daytime. Not sure what late afternoons or nights are yet. The maps and graphics are very good too. Again, not as detailed as War Thunder, but it seems to give you different environments to battle in.
Now if I can get World of Warships to come on the PS4, I'll have my planes, tanks, and boats to play with.

WarGaming's World of Tanks announced awhile back that they were introducing War Stories to the game as of August 22nd. It may be of interest to those who wish to only play in Single Player or Co-Op mode as well as those die-hards. Sounds like they will be introducing more stories soon.
