The main character looks like a little girl. Game looks pretty cool, otherwise.

Looks like no Familiars? I'm okay with this.

Watch the 2nd trailer for Ni no Kuni II: REVENANT KINGDOM that debuted at PlayStation Experience 2016 from LEVEL-5 and BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment. See the progress of Evan's quest to rebuild his kingdom as explores the land and meets new friends and foes. Ni no Kuni II: REVENANT KINGDOM launches on PS4 in 2017

If your party can actually fight and defend itself, I'll give it a chance someday.

Otherwise, it'll just frustrate me all over again.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Absolutely loved the first game. Classic. Definitely a day 1 purchase for me.

Necro-bump for the pre-load going live. Game releases Friday at midnight.

Time and delays have not dampened my excitement for this game. But I was really hoping it wouldn't have to contend with the Show for time on my PS4. Turns out they both launch at exactly the same time.

Yup, Day 1 purchase here. The first game was a masterpiece.

                        Impressions/reviews are positive too.

For some reason I wasn't expecting 60 FPS (I suppose because the first game was 30). Pleasant surprise.

Playing a bit before work, probably won't be able to get too far yet.
