    THUG2: World Tour Destruction

    Who is getting it?

I'm thinking of selling Nascar 2005 and Winning Eleven 7 but I don't know if it's gonna be enough.

The game looks good. They added a lot of stuff to do off the board.

I might pass on this one. The THPS series has always been one of my favorites, but I think it started to go downhill starting with THPS3. It was way to big on huge air and trick combos, which while fun, weren't my style to play. I really enjoyed THPS2, where you got less air and it was rather realistic. I used to skateboard a LOT a few years ago, and I still enjoy watching it, so i'm not huge on the unrealistic tricks you can pull off. I'm all for slower, realistic, planned out sequences that require good timing and practice to pull off. That's why i'll never sell THPS2 for PS.

I'll probably check this out though sooner or later from Blockbuster. Never know, could be a blast to play.

Same here. My friend was also like a god at the game and would combine every trick with manuals and stuff and would kill me by over a million points.

Game got stale for me after Tony Hawk 2 as well. It just got too insane, and too much about linking 45 tricks together.

I guess I'm the minority, but I loved 3 and 4. I liked how they let you just skate around the level however long you wanted and then find somebody to start a mission, not just have a set 2 minutes(I think that was introduced in 4 only). I spent way too much time playing both of those.

As for THUG, I was disappointed. Good idea, it just didn't work out as well as I could. I liked a lot of the stuff, the create a skater was really good, same as create a deck. Adding the story was also a nice addition, but they messed up in removing the original style of play. I NEVER used the pro's in THUG. Luckily they are bringing back the old style for THUG2, so I will definitely give it a look.

I'm a huge fan of the series! I'll most likely be picking up the game this weekend just because I'm in no hurry to get it. THPS 4 was my favourite, I played that game online a lot. I think it's just a lot of fun for me because I am pretty good at it.

I'll definetely be picking it up, just not YET.
