Next Call of duty to be set in space?

Just a rumor at this point. But according to the article the source was right about a few things last year. In my opinion call of duty is truly dead if this happens. What are anyone else's thoughts?

Black ops 1 was the last good one
Black ops 2 was okay
Everything after that was horrible beyond explanation.

I accepted that they make these games for kids only and thy like flying and stuff so its whatever.


Hopefully next battlefield will be good. I'm a fps gamer first and foremost and need my fix soon lol.

Going on 10. COD 4 was the last one I really enjoyed.

My favorite was actually Modern Warfare 2. That was the best single-player campaign I've played since the original "Halo", and the first game that I ever played multi-player with random interwebz people because it was so good. It's actually one of my all-time favorite games.

But I liked each subsequent title less and less, and I haven't played on in years. I think the last time I had any interest whatsoever was "Black Ops", and that was the last time I picked up the virtual rifle in anger.

Black ops 2 was okay

The last COD I really got into was Black Ops. Unless they have a return to form there are plenty of other series to get into.

For me I think the last good cod was mw3. It's been dying a slow and painful death since. I honestly don't see a cod game past 2020. This franchise has long hit its stride and I think activation will kill this series much like it did guitar hero.

Next Call of duty to be set in space?

After this BO2 shenanigans I'm officially done with the COD series. Rumor is the next battlefield is being set to the WW2 era. I hope and pray this is true.

Well, you don't actually have to do that, but I'll admit my first time through I had no idea what I was supposed to be doing there. And, I think the fact that it's so disturbing and still talked about to this day is one of the reasons that particular game sticks out in my memory as the best of the bunch. When was the last time a game made you feel horrible about yourself?

This actually does excite me. The games are on a 3 year cycle I think (maybe 2) so they did this while the futuristic thing was gaining traction. With BF5 rumored to be in WW1, I don't have a problem with this and I have a feeling the cod after this next one will be a more normal one.
