I feel like this is not true. It was "leaked" probably to change the subject due to the hate they're getting on the esports scene. I could be and am probably wrong, but it would make a lot of sense. I don't think they're that dumb to make a game even MORE on the future after fans have been pleading for "modern" warfare.

Well, you don't actually have to do that, but I'll admit my first time through I had no idea what I was supposed to be doing there. And, I think the fact that it's so disturbing and still talked about to this day is one of the reasons that particular game sticks out in my memory as the best of the bunch. When was the last time a game made you feel horrible about yourself?

Probably 7th grade when me and a buddy got a cracked copy of strip poker for the computer and his mom busted us 😀

Not at all, so many people say they're boycotting it but they all still buy it every year. Not referring to people on here but just in general.

I have a lot of friends who are that way. They give them all that money (the $60 plus tax for the game and then buy the $40 season pass and buy cod points to open supply drops, etc.) but still complain that the games "dead"

Nah as dickey said in reply to my post the sales have still fallen but it's not a huge drop in sales.

Black ops 3 is my first cod since MW2. I liked it but I'm going back into hibernation with this series. Hoping they one day remaster CoD4. Loved that game.

If this is true, it will be an easy pass for me. I already do not like much of the futuristic stuff.

I wish they go back to the more modern wars or earlier.

My favorite call of duty was easily MW2. Really hope that comes backwards compatible.

I haven't owned a Call of Duty since MW3.

If it's in space, or anything remotely futuristic, I'm skipping again. Still holding out for a WWII era shooter.

I saw a leak that says the upcoming COD is going to be called "Infinite Warfare" and that it's going to feature a Modern Warfare Remaster.

If the MW part is true, I will purchase strictly for that reason lol.
