I pre-ordered mine from Amazon weeks ago but it said they were out-of-stock today and I was supposed to get release day delivery. Called Amazon and cancelled it and price matched it at Target. Excalibur Batman is also a Target exclusive and Knight Rider is a Gamestop exclusive.

Yes, Wyldstyle and B.A. Baracus have different master build abilities.

Here is everything Excalibur Batman can do in the game.

Excalibur Batman is one of the Fun Pack characters in LEGO Dimensions. He appears in 71344 Fun Pack for The LEGO Batman Movie franchise. Excalibur Batman's background is identical to that of the Batman from The LEGO Batman Movie because they are the same person, except that this version of the character wears the Excalibat suit. I guess the new Batman is needed then. I'll pick him and Knight Rider up this weekend sometime.

Knight Rider is actually on sale for $7.19. Had no idea.

Latest update is screwing things up again. Ghostbusters and Fantastic Beasts story packs and adventure worlds, Sonic level and adventure world and E.T. adventure world no longer show progress achieved. Levels don't even show up on the portal map.

It's amazing how they screw this up with every update.

So I was already a little irritated that they released a second Batman dimensions figure to buy, but even more so after seeing the Batman Lego Movie yesterday and Excalibur Batman wasn't even in it. You see the sword for like 1 second, but I never saw it used. The suit was never worn either. I would have rather the dimensions character have been the main Batman suit from the movie since it was different from the starter pack suit.

You're in luck. The Batman adventure world has a red brick that lets you play as Lego Batman Movie Batman when you put starter pack Batman on the toy pad.

So it sounds like wave 8 is it for Lego Dimensions. A known Lego leaker stated that there are no plans to continue the franchise any further.

The just2good guy? He's very reliable and he hinted at it a month ago. I'll miss Dimensions because of the way it brought back so many long forgotten franchises. With Disney gone, Skylanders rumored to be out, and now Dimensions, I wonder what it was about these toy to life games that couldn't last very long? I was very skeptical about Dimensions because it isn't really any different that regular Lego games except you have to pay for characters to swap out instead of them just being unlocked from progress in the game. But those Adventure Worlds in Dimensions for each franchise are amazing. It was a 3-year project, sad that they couldn't complete it if the news is true.

I think it is Wave 9 that is the last. Wave 8 is supposed to be Beetlejuice, Goonies, Lego City and Hermione. Still leaves Powerpuff Girls and Teen Titans Go after those. Regardless, I had a feeling these would be the final packs. Not really sure what else there is for them to do. It has to end eventually.

Correct. He said wave 8 but that makes sense. Although we've not seen anything for these packs but they are already in the game.

Issue is flooding the market with toys to life games. Skylanders and DI both did it. Their cardinal sin is releasing updates to already established characters like the Knight Batman. Told my wife when I saw that it was the end.

Minus the issues when they update, the game has been a lot of fun to play. Plus we get all those collectible minifigures out of it. Haha.

My most disliked thing about Dimensions are the Sonic exclusive races. They are too difficult. He moves way too fast and the camera changes make it super easy to mess up. I still need 5 gold bricks in the Sonic Adventure World that I'm not sure I will get because those races irritate the hell out of me.

It's a great game. But the "DLC" and issues make it my least favorite of the Lego games. If it didn't have any physical characters and was this story with just a stand alone game, it would have been amazing. Have read rumors of that eventually happening as well.

That really stinks if this is true. I just read something over at Darkspyro.net that this was also rumored to be cancelled. Crazy to think in a span of a year all of the TTL games are done.
