Ive been playing this nonstop for a week now.

This is my kind of game, especially with my OCD and getting every hero's rank up. The double XP week ends tomorrow so I gotta keep grinding!

Got this game for PC because I found it for $27. I am enjoying it, but I am concerned about the low player base. Before Overwatch came out I was seeing peak ~5500-6000, and now that Overwatch is out it's ~3000-4000. Also, matchmaking has not really been my friend so far. Had multiple teammates afk/disconnect in the middle of the match, and that's frustrating.

I kinda wish I went with this instead of Overwatch, but all my buddies went overwatch so what can I do.

I really wish this was released a couple months before overwatch. I don't care what they say it has to take a huge chunk of sales.

Already 40% off on steam. I got it 20% off at launch and have already played like 40 hours, so I'm not too upset. Hopefully this helps bolster the population. It really is a fun game.

I really hope some of the OW crowd will look for other similar games and lead them to this. I still play daily and have a great time with it.

Honestly, they need to do something drastic. Player base on PC is now around 1000-1100 during peak hours, and it's caused matchmaking to become even worse. I played three games yesterday. One was my team of five solo players versus a premade five. That game was over in minutes. The next game we had a Montana who literally only fought enemy heroes, he did not once attack any minions. He also died every time. He finished 0-13, never made it past level one and never killed a single minion. It's not like he was new, either, as his Battleborn level was in the 20s or 30s.

I want to play the game but it's very discouraging when you get paired with people who AFK, people like that Montana, and get paired against premades.

Great post, and you're absolutely right.

Sometimes I wonder if it would have been better for them to include a full fledge tutorial mode for multiplayer since I think a lot of people, including myself, knew nothing about MOBAs.

I think something drastic is coming, the numbers are horrible and its a game that is really centered around playing with others

No I love MOBAs. I started with dota slash Warcraft 3 back in the day.

But LoL is free to play so there's no commitment needed. This however is a retail game that costs money initially, so people getting frustrated doesn't help them to tell friends or others that it's a good investment.
