its kind like ages of the empires in a sense because you build up your army, town, and gather resources. You can advance through the ages pretty well as you can go from trebuchets to nuclear missiles. I enjoyed the game, and i think you would too. Also another good aspect is that the resources never run out once you build them, so you don't have to really worry about that.
