To clarify: I own Battlefield 1, too. Love it. Titanfall 2 is different and just as good.

Both games are A+ titles that should be in the library of any FPS fan.

I'll probably get this game, but I want to give all my attention to COD 4 for a while.

I'm just glad it is this good. I really liked the first one a lot.

EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

Just got a gift card today. Think I will use it on this even though I am currently obsessed with BF1. Really a shame the way EA handled this game. Hopefully it will sell more at Christmas time.

Maybe in 4 or 5 weeks they can push a nice update out that has a cool new mode and generate some buzz for the holiday rush

After reading PK500's glowing review, I did some research. This seems to be a very well received game all around, so I just bought it on PSN. Looking forward to trying it tonight. I played the Alpha, but I didn't put much time into it at all. I'm going to have a crazy shooter rotation going with COD, BF1 & this now.

I was trying to spread the word from the very beginning but I'm glad at least PKs post is being taken seriously

Anyone who doesn't believe the hype just read the critic scores and reviews on metacritic

It's just as well received as Bf1 maybe even a point of two better

Was kind of on the fence on this one and picked it up after watching some gameplay. Didn't get much time in last night since it was installing but wow. Very strange to see a game that plays this well from a huge studio be under the radar. Between this and BF1 it's nice to not even consider picking up COD to fill some shooter void.

A sure sign that Titanfall 2 is a great shooter: I yell "F*CK YOU!" at the screen every time I kill a human or CPU-controlled player in multiplayer.

This game evokes emotion, which is fantastic. I'm fully invested when playing.

No other shooter is creating this feeling for me now, even the fantastic BF 1.

I really enjoyed Titanfall 1 and I'm going to get this soon.

Im curious, does it have destructible environments this time?

No. That's a bummer. But you really need the buildings to remain intact for jumping and parkour, which are so important to the mechanics and vibe of this game.

Plus having a roof over your head provides a brief moment of respite from titan onslaughts.
