Re: Titanfall 2
Had no idea about the grenade part! Will it prompt you to drop it or do you just rodeo and hit the grenade toss button?Comment

Re: Titanfall 2
Some modes have AI-controlled enemies. The human-controlled Pilots in those modes are outlined in red. You'll get more points for killing them than the AI-controlled Grunts and Spectres.
You get your Titan through accomplishment. Kill more Pilots or capture more hardpoints (Amped Hardpoint), and you'll get your Titan more quickly.
Switch to your Anti-Titan weapon when trying to take down a Titan as a Pilot. It's best to tag-team with a friendly Titan. Let that friendly Titan carry the load. You can pot shot with your Anti-Titan weapon while the enemy Titan is preoccupied with your friendly Titan. You might land the lethal blow and get credit for a kill or at least get a Titan Assist.
Another way to kill a Titan as a Pilot is to rodeo it with your grappling hook, remove its battery, jump to the ground, rodeo it again and drop grenades down its hatch. Tricky, but awesome when you pull it off.
My favorite mode is Amped Hardpoint. More like Conquest in Battlefield, plus you can score many points for Titans and gear upgrades by capturing and amping Hardpoints, in addition to Titan and Pilot kills. It's a nice mix for older guys like me who aren't ace controller jockeys.Comment

Re: Titanfall 2
Funny how gaming works sometimes.
TF was a masterpiece.
TF2 beta was a letdown.
And with gears, bf, iw, mw (biggest disappointment of the last 5 years for me), and others competing in the marketplace, I would never have guessed that not only would TF2 end up being the best game of the lot after the beta, but the gap would be sizeable. And it's really easy to support these guys who are listening to the community and making the game better. I am waiting for hardcore in bf1 to hopefully complement tf2 beautifully.Comment

Re: Titanfall 2
This could ignite some debate that might not be super productive
They are very different games. Completely different types/styles of FPS multiplayer experiences and they can co-exist peacefully. I love switching back and forth between them and are both fantastic shooters imo"Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."
