What sniper rifle do you guys prefer with scout?

I have been switching been the SMLE Marksman and the russian one trench version, I almost use it more as a shotgun style weapon.

My problem with scout (sniper in general) I can never tell how far I should have my gage. 75M, 100m or 300m (whatever the choices are) a lot of times I try to aim right above the head and still miss. And hitting a moving target, forget it. Any tips?

I keep it at 75m, you should almost never be using 300m that's basically as far from the spawn in rush to the enemy spawn at the other end. I keep mine at 75m and just aim higher if needed. It's a 'feel' kind of thing.

solo isn't as much fun by far but sometimes you're just not in the mood to talk with people, you know? i'd like to play with OSers sometimes but I don't feel like talking, if that makes sense

The bullet drop in this game appears minimal when compared to prior battlefield games.

Why did they make it so that you can kill with 1 shot without getting a head shot? I'm tired of getting sniped on half the maps with a body shot at full health. Plus your rifle is next to useless trying to return fire at that range.

Snipers don't kill in 1 shot unless the player is already low on health.

Found out that the % of the weapons was a coincidence, played some more and they are different now ... now have more W% but less SPM and KDR, without gaming with OSers the last couple of nights, hummm ... sometimes stats dont align with eyes and feel, I still belive I do way better with OSers than without.

Definitely agree

Boatman u were right saying this feels nothing like previous battlefields

As someone who invested a lot of time in SWBF it does have a slight feel of that game

Going to put some time in tonight I gotta find a better gun more suitable to my style I'm not digging the starter guns

Haven't put in enough time to give an opinion yet

That isn't true. All the snipers can 1 shot to the body if you are within the specified range. There is a little damage graph when you go through the snipers. You can't 1 shot from point blank as that would just make scouts too strong. This could be offset by quickly switching to your pistol after firing, or going for the knife after your shot lands.

Yeah I have definitely been One Shot by snipers while I had full health

I definitely wish the game wasn't so sniper centric but thats just me. I know its a part of any FPS so it is what it is. When I play as scout I barely break even on K/D so more power to the guys who dominate

I agree with what you're saying, honestly even playing in a group without a mic, to me, is better than playing with randoms. Being mic'd up is cool but even without one you can still benefit from playing with friends/OSers.

Give me a group over randoms any day, mic or no mic

Untrue. I capped a guy from long distance the other night with one shot to the skull.
