Who is the point of contact to reach out to that sets up a majority of these OS games and playtimes? My forte is certainly not FPS games, but would like to group up for some fun for a bit here.

I don't mind snipers because I like counter sniping. I'm still feeling my way out with the maps and classes, pretty mediocre SPM and K/D.

I am officially pretty impressed with the single player campaign. It is thoughtful and well executed. Some really fun, tense moments.
Glad it wasn't just "glued together and thrown in there" like some games do.
I could see myself putting in 1000+ hours in this game like I did with Team Fortress and the original Call of Duty games."Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

The biggest challenge of BF1 for me is quitting to the main menu after a match 😑Face Creations here

Always fun and a Battlefield classic when half your team wants to lay on their belly in the mountains while not caring a single bit about the objective
How that's fun is beyond me. I don't care if they actually wanna help out but other that it's just a pure innocence

Agreed. Not only is it annoying, but you'd think how boring that is. Sit back and to not play the objective. Keep that stuff for Deathmatch. Playing as a sniper in anything but that mode is liability to the team you are on.Comment

Re: Battlefield 1 (PC, PS4, XBOX One)
Like every Battlefield before it, theres snipers that you will love on your team and those that you will despise.
I remember in BF3 i think, using the spoting flair and shooting it on the snipers on your team face so all they see is a giant red glare and the opposing team would see them. Best was when the opposing team had a Stinger and locked onto the flare. 😂

Battlefield 1 (PC, PS4, XBOX One)
Still having trouble deciding on a class to focus on. I get the best k/d ratio with assault class and it's not really close, but in playing with randoms I am not seeing many ammo drops so that can be a real problem. I am not too big on any of the assault gadgets, which leads me to...
Support and medic class. I love being able to re supply my team with ammo or heal with health crates. And reviving fallen team members is a blast. It's just a shame so few folks will give medics a chance to get there and revive them. I have gotten really tired of rushing off to help a downed teammate only to see them hit respawn so soon after they died. It makes playing medic much less rewarding. Plus my k/d ration is always horrible as a medic. Don't get me wrong, I always play the objective first and try to be a good medic, but going 3/14 on k/d constantly sucks.
I do a little better as a support player as far as k/d, but am still usually on the negative. I don't really care for any of the guns I have unlocked, plus I focus on the mission, pass out ammo and do a lot of suppression fire.
My least favorite is the scout class, which I never would have thought because I usually like sniping. But for me it's way too passive here, too hard to play the objective in any way. I do it on occasion just to break things up, but it's my least favorite of the 4 classes.
You guys that are already maxed on the classes are killing me. I am a level 2 medic, level 1 support and level 0 assault and scout. I have probably played a lot less than most of you but I am also a BF noob and not very good right now. But I do always play the objective, love to stick with my squad and am eager to learn and get better.
If anyone is so inclined, could you list your favorite setups (weapons & gadgets) for each class? I am struggling trying to find the right combo and could use some advice. Thanks much!Last edited by Quint75; 10-27-2016, 01:37 AM.NCAA: Michigan Wolverines

I think snipers can be really important to winning matches.... when used correctly. Your team is at a significant disadvantage though when half the team is trying to snipe, but you could probably say that about other classes too.
The key thing for me is to pay attention to what classes my squadmates are, and try to be something we don't already have. I'm not seeing nearly as many snipers in Operations mode though.----------------------

I just don't like when it splits our 2 squads between matches, which doesn't always happen but it sucks when it does. Someone was saying in party chat and I have to agree, that they wished it would recognize two squads in the same party chat and keep us together.
Love it when all OSers occupy the top spots and go positive in the process. That's capping objectives and killing while doing it.

Yea most nights (heck every night) we at least have a full 5. Sometimes we have to go two squads because we have between 8 to 10 OSers (2 out of party chat, which some guys are totally cool with or they don't even have a mic).
