They are adding 2 more flags, rearranging the flags etc on Suez...

DICE today revealed some of the changes for and additions to*Battlefield 1*coming in the future. First, the developer*said in a blog post*that it will tweak the Suez map to make Conquest matches "more balanced and the map size more fitting."

There are currently only three flags, but the update will add two more, for a total of five, bringing the map more in line with others in Conquest. Additionally, the capture area size for two of the control points (A and C) are being reduced in an effort to create "more dynamic matches." Further still, one additional armored vehicle will be added to each side's base. DICE didn't say when the update that makes these changes will be released.

Based on your input, we are changing the layout of the Suez map in Conquest to make the matches more balanced and the map size more fitting. We have expanded the layout to feature five instead of three flags. We’re also reducing the capture area size of the two control points located within the map’s villages (currently flag A and C) to create more dynamic matches. Furthermore, we’re adding one armored vehicle to each team’s base to give dominated teams a better chance to quickly get across the map and capture a control point behind enemy lines.

In general I always wished the map cap points cycled so they were in different locations every few times when you played the same map.

This is a cool concept. Dynamic objective markers. It would keep you on your toes and force you to change your approach every time you play you play that same map.

This would be cool for Rush too. I think we threw around that idea during BF3.

Anyway. The only problem would be that sometimes you'd get a randomized set of objectives that heavily favor one team, making it a lopsided battle.

Yup that makes sense. Map symmetry is fairly important in maintaining neutrality in terms of giving players a strategic advantage.

This could be countered in a number of different ways. More/less vehicles for one side, more/less tickets, spawn points closer/further than normal, or, and Dice would never do this, if it is a very lopsided map for one side, make one team have more slots available. I wish Rush was more than 24 people because I'd love to see some matches where it's maybe 14 defenders against 20-22 attackers. Heavily fortified, wide open space in front, defenders have all of the advantages except numbers. Attacking would be intense, chaotic, and all around hard, but satisfying.

They should disable switching teams with less than 5 minutes to go. I have been guilty of this and I'm sure some of you too. You are losing so you just switch teams at the end and get winning bonus + free win.

I've started pushing them off the cliffs they're prone on. Since their legs can't clip, you just walk behind them and they just slowly slide forward. Its funny seeing them readjust their positioning without realizing I keep pushing them out of their spot.

Awesome. I started throwing tank grenades at my own tanks today because idiots are parking them in one place and using them to pick off soldiers that happen by. I shot my anti-tank rifle at them too. PTFO you morons. No wonder we lost the match.

I never even thought about doing this. It does not surprise me that some would this, I just take the loss.

Battlefields in the past gave had a system where you could not switch teams at all late in the round. It would tell you "it is too close to the end of the round". Does this game not have that feature?

I really think gas grenades need a nerf. I mean they do just as much damage as an Incineration grenade, you cant prone to reduce the damage from them like Incineration grenades and the gas grenades are the only grenades in the game that effect your gunplay (Not being able to ads with gas mask on) not to mention seep through concrete walls and such that they shouldnt be able to.

Either get rid of the no ads feature of the mask or lower damage/aoe of the gas.

I was on Ballroom Blitz. I kept getting sniped by one person by our base. He was hiding out behind in the trenches just picking people off. I went alone and tried to get him. First I went straight in (mistake) I couldn't see him until he got up and ran after me with a handgun. Then I sneaked around behind him and got him as he was moving to a new spot. It felt good.

I like how we can change squad leaders now. I'm a spotter. I blast R1 all day to help out my team. When I'm a leaders I will spot and change the flag we are supposed to attack. Once I was like no, and handed it off to a teammate and he went and gave it back to me. I did the sorry command and he did the thanks command haha.

Some of those pistols are just filthy. I see people running around with them a lot.

Anyone know if when you rent a server, can you costomize options like health, etc. Im thinking about when Hardcore releases, making a server with the Hardcore Health but still allowing hud and killcam to combat snipers.

Of course you love them, I love them. Everyone loves them but you cant say they dont need rebalanced base off the pros and cons against the rest of the grenades.

Hell there was one match that you pretty much had the mask on 70 percent of the time because it looked like the Hulk farted on the map all the time.
