Battlefield 1 (PC, PS4, XBOX One)

IMO BF1 will not have the same longevity BF4 had. The lack of weapons and weapon customization, character customization, vehicle variety, and unlockable gear hinders the long term replay-ability of the game.



BF1 is much more stable and balanced than what BF4 was at launch, however the game feels boring for me after having played it for 2 months. I think other people may feel the same way.



I was hooked to BF4 for a good year or two. The launch was a disaster, however once the bugs got ironed-out, the game great (I would classify it as my favorite game of this console generation).

I was one who couldn't stand BF4 for some reason. I mean I did play it quite a bit but it didn't hook me at all where I had to just play it non stop like BF1(I don't need 400 weapons that all are nearly the same)

I know most loved it but I just liked it. I'm probably alone on that lol

To put in perspective I've already past the amount of play time in BF1 that I did in the entirety of BF4. I just love the setting of BF1 and the way it plays

I actually use medic. Sometimes I have to shoot someone 3-4 times in the chest for them to die. I think it's a little excessive lol. Also, what's the fastest way to rank up your weapons? Which mode gives you the most points. I'm assuming conquest.

Pretty sure all the medic guns kill in 3 hits max. If you get a headshot they go to two

You can't fire them to fast or they lose accuracy fast, and on a semi auto precision weapon that's the last thing you want. The Sweeper is good at close range if that's your style it's full auto

And yeah conquest gives a ton of points if you play the objective.

I kinda agree with you. I could play bf4 all day and not get tired but bf1 i play 3-4 maps and it gets boring.

Yes! Verdun! I was watching video of the game with the same name last night and thinking how I'd love a BF1 map with just trenches.

I also like that first image too. Some CQC a room with bullets flying trying to gain the upper hand to get the flag.

I've been using the crossbow the last couple of days - not sure how I got it since I don't have a premium pass. Maybe for being a "long time player"? Its pointless for my playstyle - 3 rounds and sometimes a 4th will pop up. Anyone else use it?

Pretty sure the map and crossbow was released to everyone. But people who pre ordered and have premium got it first

I use it when I'm using support and constantly restock with ammo box. I actually got pretty good at aiming and get quite a few kills with it .... It doesn't do a heck of a lot of damage but it can kill and is good for getting campers out of buildings and such

With the support you can rain bullets and explosives all game. I do that quite a bit while holding off the enemy during conquest captures

I've played this game since the release and I love it. There are some crazy moments during Operations where it's like a scene from a movie. This game is addictive and immersive. Planes overhead, mortars crashing down, and bullets flying everywhere. What a freaking game and the graphics and animations are 2nd to none.

I've had some of my favorite moments the last couple of nights when I finally hooked up with some OSers. It's always fun playing with Nemesis and recently ElConjito1015. It's best when guys play with their mics on and communicate. That's where the game shines most but too often I play with randoms and no one talks. I played a few Operations games with JerzeyReign last night. I believe he was in a party so we didn't communicate but it was fun playing in a squad where people are playing objectives and have a squad leader calling out leading the team. Far too often I'm in a squad with 4 randoms and everyone is playing a different objective and it's frustrating.

Anyone else want to play together on the PS4 hit me up---Bronk14. I'm all about playing the objective as a team and will sacrifice my k/d for the betterment of the team. I use whatever class is needed to help the squad.

Swamp Swagger what is you PSN? I would love to play along side you one night. Like I said, I'm on nightly and sometimes during the afternoons.

It's funny Nemesis, we haven't spoken in game but we always seem to be on the same page and play objectives and support each other perfectly. Not bad for two old men....hahaha. Who knew a Red Sox fan and Yankee fan could build chemistry?

Our stats are almost identical as well---k/d, score/min, skill, and win %.
