The WWI setting is awesome as is all the destructible stuff in the game. Really hoping that the story campaign is good and not just "meh" like Hardline was. Leave it to EA to have good ideas and fall short. Ugh.

As much as I love battlefield multi player, I wish the campaigns were good also.

Re: Battlefield 1 (PC, PS4, XBOX One)
Will this be PvP or PvE?
Without boring people too much with history, one reason WWI had such high casualties was because generals still had old time tactics which modern weapons had surpassed.
There were instances where WWI generals withheld bullets from the troops and ordered them to charge because they disliked seeing their troops do what modern day troops are trained to do - seek cover and shoot at the enemy. They thought the bayonet was the key to victory.
There was still some of it in WWII with generals like Russian Budyonny who believed the horse was superior to the tank and sent his men to be slaughtered.
The game does have potential.≡Comment

Battlefield games are pretty much 95% PvP, in terms of what everyone plays. Unfortunately there are no built in WW1 documentaries in the game.

Even watching in 1080p was amazing. The sound is some of the best I have ever heard in a shooter. Really love the narrators voice when you are losing an objective.Comment

I think the woman's voice (if it's the one I think you're talking about) is a placeholder based on what I've been reading.Comment

Yeah, that is what I was talking about. Damn, well it would be cool to give us options.
