I'm good with kills counting towards the final score/outcome, but one of the things that's always made conquest appealing is the fact that you can be 5-20 and still finish first overall in the game.

I agree there's something for every type of player. Even if you're not good with a weapon you can benefit the team in other ways like being a medic or supplying ammo. Kills are important but it doesn't necessarily mean you'll be at the top.

Not speaking for any of you guys that do that, nor am I judging. I'm merely speaking for myself here.

If I go 5-20 in any BF game (or any shooter for that matter), I'm finding a new genre to play.

        Again, that's just me.

I totally get your point tho.

Lol, it's called PTFO, man. Truly is lost concept this day in age. But yea I hear ya, there's a reason they keep TDM in most games, for those that only care about kills.

There are games out there, not AAA titles on consoles, that don't even show k/d on certain game modes.

Oh I def play the objective (that's why our squad is always in the top 5 slots), but I just happen to rack up the kills in the process.

That's what I meant by only speaking about me. I couldn't play a shooter if I wasn't good at racking up the kills.

I would be frustrated going 5-20 lol. But I'm glad other players can still get enjoyment out of having them kinda games.

Like you said, BF games afford that opportunity. That's a good thing, keep their player base bigger by keeping it fun for all types of players.

Yea I hear ya, who wants to be bad at shooting in a shooter! I just like seeing guys go 5-20 and can finish 1st and be above the guys going 20-5, is all.

My average k/d is probably around even with swings one way or the other, but consistently playing the obj so usually on the upper quarter of the board. If I can stay top 10 I'm happy.

Also wish I had more than one person to run with. We usually do well for our team since teamwork is hard to come by. I can't imagine having a group like you guys roll with.

Apparently Air Superiority will not be included in the Vanilla game. Four new maps revealed bringing it to 9 maps at launch with 1 more coming in December for free. Will put a picture and description of the 4 new maps in a spoiler for those who want to check it out.

I'm brand new to Battlefield and I'm struggling with gun battles in Battlefield 4. Do the attachments make much difference in the weapons?

Yes, but it all depends on your playstyle. Me and Bolt usually use different attachments because we have different playstyles.

Send me a request man! I won't be on X1 at launch as I'm getting it for PC, but no doubt will eventually be on Xbox as well.

When I first got BF4 I struggled mightily, in fact I still do, in BF4. Don't sweat it.

                                News on the Melee combat

Also looks like we will be able to decide if we want to equip a bayonet to our primary weapon but if we do it will negatively affect the recoil of your weapon, and how quickly you can raise your weapon to a fire-ready position after a sprint.
