I guess that's obvious, but I only say it because all weekend long I've had absolutely NO issue finding or running a game on both PC and Xbox. Hopefully that continues as we all know how bad the bf4 launch was.

I'm pretty late to the game, I know (no pun intended) - Is there any way to still get access to any type of trial on PS4? Was strongly considering buying this, but now I may wait until I know more about R*'s plans behind these RDR teasers.

The Battlelog Mobile App sees a major overhaul on October 18.

Hopeful that is has been upgraded. Always good in thought, never held my attention in practice.

Yea as soon as my download was complete the first thing I noticed was the timer being over by three hours.

The countdown is running towards midnight pst not midnight est.

If I had known that I would have kept my disc version from Gamestop and went to the store tonight to pick it up. No chance I'm staying up till midnight my time to play tonight. To add to that, I have work training tomorrow morning so I wouldn't be able to play till after that tomorrow afternoon.

I've read a few places complaining about the UFC digital release fiasco and hope this isn't the same scenario. I've also read good things about it being incorrect and that it will indeed open up at midnight est (9pm my time tonight).

We shall see.

You have hours to try any game regardless of release date. You're not limited to unreleased or new games.

For example, you can download and try Madden 17, NHL or Fifa

Thanks a lot for the quick response. I am trying to wait to atleast get through gears before I buy it. Way too many shooters in a short window.

Something tells me this timer thing just isn't gonna fix itself.

Can I refund a digital pre-order on grounds of misinformation? The store clearly says 12 EST and that doesn't seem to be the case. If I can refund it, it isn't too late to head down to GS

I shoulda just kept my physical copy anyway and gone to the store tonight. My bad for being lazy. I won't make this mistake again.

P.S.

I know on OS people love to drop the "entitled gamer card" when stuff like this happens. Please don't do that here. The store page clearly says 12 EST, not 12 PST. I don't think I am being unfair.

In the long run is it a huge deal? No. The world isn't ending. I just think right is right and wrong is wrong and if the page says a time, it should be that time. If it isn't that time, then really there was no reason to go digital.

I've seen some tweets from Battlefield and Sony saying the timer is counting down to Pacific midnight but that every region will get the game at their own midnight.
But now I'm seeing tweets from EA saying the timer is not correct and they're working with Sony to fix the issue.
So I also feel like it might not go live until 3am. I have work at 8am so I was hoping to play a few games at midnight and then get some sleep but now I'm debating if that's worth the shot or if maybe I should just wake up early to get in a game or two.

Official reps have tweeted that they are working on fixing the timer?

I just think its weird that it seems like 99 percent of digital orders open at 12 EST, and physical stores sell the game nationwide at 12 EST. Not sure why it is different for this game.
