Good thing you didn't say that in the NMS thread. You might've gotten banned over there lol.
I honestly haven't looked into IW much. As long as the campaign isn't as horrible as BLOPS3 was, I should be cool. I usually have a good time with COD games.Comment

I will probably pick this one up when I see a sale.

Re: Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare (2016)
I have purchased every release but it won't be this one. The series has become complete garbage. Run, gun, die, repeat in a matter of seconds. No strategy, just running and jet packing all over the place with spray and pray opponents.
Yep, time for a change away from this. Tired of playing games where someone runs full speed at you, you kill them and they continue to do it over and over since there isn't much of a consequence. Sure you win the game but it has become mindless running around now.Comment

Re: Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare (2016)
The thing for me is that Halo does the future shooter thing so damn well already. It's super smooth, the gun play is awesome, the servers are solid. I love the 4v4 modes in Halo. It's really, really good. Super smooth, and the hit detection is better than COD's. On top of that, we have Overwatch, which is rather unique and creative.
That being said, I can get IW on Amazon Prime preordered and essentially spend $65 for both COD 4 and IW. So I really don't have much reason not to try IW if I choose. I am hoping for it to be a fun game. The reason so many people (listen to the crowd in the reveal vid) are so fired up for the remaster is it was the perfect marriage of a bit of realism plus super smooth and fun gameplay. The maps are also fantastic.
I'd love to have 2 shooters for the price of one. There really are not many on the horizon besides this and BF1. I was not that impressed by Titanfall , and while BF1 is good, I've always preferred COD.
Does anyone know if COD now has Dedi's, like everyone else? I am sure this has been asked a lot, because it was one of the major weaknesses in the game a few years back.Last edited by Methlab; 09-04-2016, 11:24 AM.Comment

Re: Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare (2016)
I'm glad that I paid attention to what I was about to order. I was going to pay off IW now because I thought we'd be able to play multiplayer on the remaster early. I found it that it's only the single player that we're granted early access to. That's cool, but I can wait on that. I'll be playing Mafia 3 and Tomb Raider next month. No need to get the remaster early if that's all it is. I can wait until November.Comment

That's the biggest thing that has gotten me. I'd play Titanfall, or Halo if I wanted all this stuff, but I want pure CoD again.Comment

Re: Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare (2016)
I think for many of us, IW is the bonus game. Hey, maybe it's cool. Who knows? I will give it a shot since I will own it.
I get that the flying around..etc is lame for a COD title. And I really hope they go back to the old gunplay of the past, because there really was not anything like it at the time.
But really, I think a ton of people will be spending their time on 4. Especially older gamers that don't have as much free time. In a way it is pretty cool, as the fan base may get split up a little, and the annoying kids that everyone complains about will probably stick to IW.Comment

Re: Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare (2016)
So World at War became backwards compatible yesterday for Xbox. Of course I bought it. I have to say, this game still delivers. I forgot how fun the older CODs were. Amazing maps, really great atmosphere and the style of gunplay is something we don't really have anymore. It just feels different in a good way from the FPS's that have come out in the past few years.
I played for an hour and it felt like 3 minutes.Comment
