Yeah difficulty sucks for me. I'm not that good so I sometimes have to use ai loadouts to beat the computer. Which really makes helping the guild I'm in hard.

Did one of the towers that only had 5 opponents and it had modifiers on and the first one was fight cat woman without using special moves including your super ability.

And considering I went into the fight using Deathstroke I got destroyed because while I wasn't able to do those things catwoman could. So she would combo me into oblivion somehow my green arrow was able to win and the other 4 were no where near as lop sided but that first fight was extremely annoying. The others were even modifications except for the final against bane where his super charged faster and did more damage. Good thing his is pretty easy to dodge.

I just feel I am useless in guild challenges since they are the harder difficulties and don't have easier ones for me to help out with.

For the Online Guild, I got all the way to the end but man, I couldn't land one damn hit on Catwoman. Not one. After 35 minutes I just gave up.

Think the only reason I did is because my green arrow had some great gear at level 5 so I could withstand her combos and do decent damage back. I think I had 2 pieces of a dry that have an additional 150 health or something.

Yeah the difficulty is annoying me the more I play.

Like all games with reward systems, just scale the damn rewards to the difficulty. That way all the git gud dudes can get their rocks off playing on uber difficulty and get rewarded for it and people that want to just chill and enjoy a fighting game can also help out.

I just hate when I get to a point with games where I go why bother? It's not about failing to rise to the challenge so much as it's about I only have so much time (actually not much at all) during my day to devote to grinding against abusive AI.

Can someone explain to me why a rare piece of gear with 0 modifiers is superior to a common piece of gear with modifiers?

Also, what are the tiers, common, rare, then are there more?

I've been poking around the net for answers to these and I'm seeing a lot about the gear system but not answers of this nature.

Has anyone found out how to unlock the skins that can't be bought with source crystals there like 2 for each playable person

& if they drop from boxes which boxes should I get & how do I obtain them & is there any possible way to have every gear & stuff in game or no?? & if so how can I tell if I own everything thx

I've been poking around the net for answers to these and I'm seeing a lot about the gear system but not answers of this nature.

Those pieces will have offense or defense upgrades. Example is you may get a 1.75 damage increase to a certain special, or you may get a 2% defense upgrade to your opponents special.

Ok, how do I see what sort of an upgrade it gets? I guess I was just looking at the bonus modifiers (the four fields would have a 0 in there which to me means it does nothing).

Is it just written on the screen somewhere and I missed it?

Have you beat the story mode? I know there are some Shaders that get unlocked that way. But it isn't for every character just the ones played with during story mode.

We beat story mode and actually a bunch of shaders unlocked!!

Perhaps I'm missing something. Is there a way to disallow loadouts when playing ranked.

On a sidenote: this is the funnest fighting game I've played in a long time even though a ~quarter of the time online, I get bounced around the stage like pinball.

It's written on the screen, you're just missing it. If there is nothing written then there are no modifiers for it. The only ones w/ modifiers are the pieces of gear listed as "Augmented".
