Yeah, it comes down to how confident you are in the developer, publisher and the game itself. Personally, im expecting a 90 meta/open critic score and it being hailed as the best Spider Man game due to it's story, characters and writing. I'm confident because it's Sony and they haven't let me down in over a decade. I simply know what im getting from them and their exclusives. Add in Insomniac who's an excellent developer and you'll have one hell of a game. I'm expecting at least an 8.5/10 or a 9.0/10 for me personally once I finish the game. It's going to come down to how much of the side content I enjoy and how the story plays out. Knowing a few things already (which anyone can find out by researching on their own), im leaning more towards a 9.0/10 than an 8.5/10 especially when the gameplay and swinging mechanics are said to be superb and feel great.Comment

It is silly to rate a game before playing it though.
Maybe Sony could change it to a hype meter before release.

Why are his webs always behind him while swinging? Sort of what the other person mentioned a page back.
It would look much better if he shot the webs further out then alternate hands.

Well, I agree and disagree. What about in my case when I post movie reviews to IMDb after seeing a pre-screening?
Maybe just the review and not the score, or make sure that it goes through an extensive screening process before it gets posted (I once had a review denied because "there wasn't enough evidence that I saw it," which I thought was insane and appealed it).
On the other hand, yes... simple rating? Not only reset before, but those who vote early don't get to re-vote. I know that some games break street date, but we're not doing article reviews here and it's more likely than not that if you're going to break street date to get a game that you're probably going to like it pretty strongly as well.
